The high table and bar stools in the kitchen were not ideal for older members of our party.

Fabulous apartment all on ground level. Parking space is a bonus. Great location, very close to the beach front and centre. Very clean, comfortable beds and quiet location. We had an issue with hot water which was very quickly resolved.

If I’m being picky I didn’t like the chairs in the kitchen. We are both quite small and it was hard to get off and on the chairs and pull ourselves close to the bench. But other than that everything was good.

A few outstanding maintenance jobs, tap on sink in kitchen, carpet in back bedroom needs fitting, but nothing that affected our stay.

If I'm going to be picky it would have been nice to have a few more of the essentials such as more than 1 1/2 toilet rolls to last 3 nights, dishwasher tablets so we could use the dishwasher, bin bags and those kind of things as they're not things you pack to take away! Maybe abit more of a deeper clean too but this is nothing that impacted our great stay!

The apartment was lovely and in a perfect location close to the shops, eateries and beach front. There was plenty of room & a real home from home and it was so useful it have a parking space! The host was very great with communication too which is an always bonus!

In general great but a few things like paintwork, cupboards needing a freshen up and the double bed mattress makes you roll into the middle, not the best if sharing with someone other than a partner!

While the apartment has a washing machine (really handy where kids and the beach are involved!) There is no washing line or airer. Otherwise, lovely!

A nice, large, well decorated apartment with off-street parking. It was very close to the beach, lots of food/takeaway options nearby and a short walk from the local metro station.

We have stayed in many self catering properties and they all supply a welcome book with local information such as emergency numbers places to eat etc. I think this something you should have . We also felt that as the shower was over the bath you should have a grab rail especially for older guests.

The flat itself was in a great location near the promenade and the town centre. We had a parking bay in front of the flat which made a huge difference to us. It was clean and very nicely decorated and situated in a quiet street.

The mattresses weren’t the most comfy, which really was the only thing we could fault. The kettle leaked, but we informed the host who was replacing it once we left. We just made sure we emptied it after using it! Not a big issue.

Lovely modern decor, and spacious for a 2 bed flat. Host was very kind leaving us some extra treats as we were doing the Great North Run. Was perfect for what we needed. We only stayed 2 nights but would be ok for longer stays too.

Tiny teething issue on first night - no heat! A loose wire to the boiler needed fixing. Owner came out at 10pm and did a great job fixing it. no further issues.

It was a terrific ground floor flat. Very spacious and quiet. We liked it a lot!
