I banged my head badly on the ceiling whilst movng the drawers at the side of the bed to find a plug socket for my phone. The child/children downstairs were up at 7am pattering around probably getting ready for school but it wasn't a huge issue, it needs a tiny bit of TLC in places, I caught my finger on the banister where the fixing had come away near the top of the stairs and the toilet door was difficult to close but other than that it was ideal.

It was spacious bright and airy, the beds were comfortable, there was everything you could need provided except perhaps a pint of milk!!

I can't really think of anything that I didn't like.

The flat is in a really good location. It's very well equipped, super clean and well presented. Couldn't really fault it in any way. A very good base for a holiday in a lovely wee town with access to so many great places locally. Communications with the owner were also excellent and she has gone out of her way to make sure that people feel welcomed for their stay. Nice touches like stocking the flat with tea, coffee, breakfast items, bread and milk just make a big difference for visitors.

The flat was lovely and comfortable, with plenty of space for my family to spread out. Location was easy to find and close to main points of town, and Niccy was very responsive and thoughtful as a host. Highly recommend.

The kitchen is due an inventory check as some item quantities were limited, given it can sleep four, but I'm nitpicking here. It would be nice to have lockable doors on both bathrooms. The flat is getting a little tired but the owners intend a refurbishment in the next year. The shower is quite small and has the usual clingy shower curtain to boot. However none of the above would put me off booking the flat again as it is otherwise very good value.

Plenty of space although the second bedroom is quite small. The main bedroom has an ensuite toilet and basin. Easy walking distance to Largs centre and very friendly owners downstairs. Residential parking is available on street. Good to have two WC's.

Excellent location, easy to get to and close to the coast and local shops and supermarket, but on a quiet road. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasant experience and all for a very reasonable price.

Had everything we needed .

Very good communication , absolutely everything we needed kitchen , towels and bedding . Heating in so the apartment was warm. Local info available and a short walk to the town and sea front . Met the hosts by chance after check out as we left our car to enjoy the morning and they were very friendly and keen to know how our stay was . We would recommend this as an excellent base for exploring Largs and the neighbouring islands .

Due to summer nights, the rooms were not dark enough. The doors have glass centre and the kitchen window had no blinds, this is just personal preference as I sleep with black out curtains x

A couple of cobwebs in the ensuite, but otherwise clean. I would have liked a socket near the mirrored wardrobe to use the hairdryer and my straighteners there, but maybe I missed it. Shower was on the smaller side but was ideal for our 2-night stay.

First time for me staying somewhere that wasn’t a hotel or b&b! It was a bit strange having people living below but didn’t put me off. Really spacious, pleasant views, felt homely. Nice little touches with the milk, water & lemonade in the fridge. My 6 year old approved of the teacakes and mini boxes of cereal. The collection of games and jigsaws was a hit too, and I enjoyed reading one of the books during our stay - it’s been a long time since I’ve read a book so quickly! Excellent location, far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to the town centre and everything we needed. Felt safe and secure.
