Toilet seat in the en-suite was broken and should have been fixed prior to the next let No indication in the house notes for the dishwasher, only found on the morning we left, all that needed was to leave the door slightly ajar and problem solved

This apartment has a fabulous location within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Once in the apartment it is very peaceful and quiet with views over the river from the lovely balcony. Make sure you look out for Dixon's Yard when looking for the property, as this was an oversight on our part. We did however find the City Lets office and Kate went out of her way to show us exactly where the location was (2 minutes walk away). The parking space provided underneath the building was easy to find and very safe and secure (bay 32). Make sure to use the lift on the right hand side of the building, as there are 2 lifts and the left one goes to apartments 1 -14, and the right is for apartments 16 and above. The apartment was spacious, clean and modern. Tv with Netflix was easy to use. Hair dryer provided in the master bedroom. Full length mirrors in both bedrooms. Kitchen had plenty of crockery, utensils, washing up liquid, tablets provided for the dishwasher, tea towel and dish cloth + tea/coffee/milk sachets. Watch the smoke alarm - its very near the kitchen and sensitive. I used the toaster once and it went off, although there was no smoke and no burnt toast. Both bathrooms very clean, with one very soft hand towel, and big bath towel provided per person. Check the boiler when you arrive, it should be timed for twice daily. Unfortunately for us it was switched off, but soon rectified with a push of the button. We had lukewarm showers that morning but water was nice and hot after an hour or two. A great weekend stay, and ideal for our concert at The Barbican, only an 8 minute easy walk away. We will definitely book again, and thanks again to Kate who was extremely helpful.

The bed I had was a bit lumpy - it would be no problem for 2/3 nights but we stayed longer so it became a bit or an issue as time went on.

The location was fantastic - only a 3 minute walk to the city centre shops and cafés. Very quiet, very well-equipped, clean, big and comfortable and heated towel rails.

Second bedroom had no TV. Water temperature in main bathroom was only tepid. No good for a shower and definitely too cold for a bath.

Minor gripe, and applies to almost every hotel or apartment we've stayed in - hooks on bathroom doors to hang your towel or clothes would be super useful!

After being upgraded to a different property ( 23 Woodsmill quay) as there was a problem with this one when we arrived, we were really happy with the property we were given. Super helpful lady from the letting agency, perfect location on the river, spotless, huge comfy bed, everything we needed, shame we didnt book for longer!
