“What a find! Gorgeous, stylish and quirky. Plenty of room for 2 adults, easy and free parking close by, on an unmade road, very quiet, well-equipped kitchen, comfy 2 x standard double beds, good WiFi, good pre-stay communication from the friendly hosts and very quick to assist with our queries mid-stay. Loved the Prosecco in the fridge (oh, and the milk) plus the tea and coffee, to say nothing of the Nespresso machine. 3 decent pubs that do food plus an Indian restaurant within a five minute walk, and Wivenhoe and it’s surroundings are so pretty. We really didn’t want to leave.”
“A lovely cottage in the heart of Wivenhoe. Really dog friendly with an enclosed garden. We stayed two nights for the regatta and it was a great base to get to the Quay and to meet up with friends who live nearby. I accidentally locked myself out shortly after arriving, and the owner was so helpful and understanding and helped me get back in quickly. Thanks for a great stay, we would definitely book again.”
