“Beautiful location, we checked in and took a walk around the lake. Car parking is plentiful even when very busy. We were in town for a funeral, and my family had checked into another hotel, Bayliss House, which turned out to be awful. Fortunately, Stoke Place had another couple of rooms available and was very accommodating about a last-minute booking. Thank you, Volfer. They also ensured that we could have breakfast in a room that my mother could access easily as she has mobility issues. The property is beautiful, and the staff are delightful.”

Breakfast was great value and fantastic that the children eat free, so much variety and we all left with full tummies. The room itself was very clean and well kept, beds were comfortable and the price was very competitive. Parking was easy as well.”
