“Location is spectacular. Beautiful 360 degrees views with roaming sheep, horses and cows. The pod overlooks a small lake a 500m walk up a hill from the farmhouse and feels very private and immersed in nature.
The owner was also very friendly with good banter and took the time to walk us up to the eco pod.
FYI, there is a toilet up by the pod but no running water. A couple of bottles of water are provided but I’d recommend taking extra.

“What a gorgeous old building! Flat was compact and ‘as new’ but with period features and had everything you could possibly need and more. Beautiful, modern finish and comfortable furnishings. Ample space and everything easy to access and use. Lovely views of the garden and pretty planting from every window. Good designated parking space also. A very quiet, pretty residential area which was close enough to walk to a nearby park and town and an accessible drive to Wales where we were visiting the Eisteddfod. Owner communicated well as was available on phone when needed.”
“Lovely cottage, perfect size, furnished with nice taste. You can be perfectly self-sufficient there whether you are there for a long or short stay. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. It also made us buy more Welsh cheese and cakes. Plenty of little convenience stores nearby and places to eat out. It was a great base to explore the area.”
“Very friendly welcome. Room (6) was spacious and comfortable with the added bonus of the room radio playing in the bedroom to greet us on our arrival - very soothing music - perfect after a long journey. A nice touch!
