“The hotel although a bit dated, is deceiving and the location is right on the front overlooking the sea front. Couldn't fault the staff , very friendly and very helpful. The room so clean, beds so comfy and a nice clean bathroom with a lovely hot shower, great little tv, tea and coffee making facilities. Excellent storage and hanging for clothes. Plenty of options, yogurts, croissants, kelloggs cereals, juice, water, tea, coffee, full English breakfast and selection of bread, preserves and butter. Great location to explore along the promenade.”
“morecambe has gone down the toilet since my last visit 3 years ago, i thought i would give it another visit especially as this hotel was at a great price and in a good ish location even though i dont like the south of the resort. and well it was horrible not the hotel the area full of drunks screaming at each other and everywhere was just scruffy and didnt feel safe. shame as i used to like morecambe, will it change with the multi million injection of cash erm no it wont.”
“The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the minute we arrived. My wife could drive her mobility scooter straight into the hotel and then straight into our accessible room. The dining room was spacious, the food was good and was served with smile. We only stayed a couple of nights, but we enjoyed them immensely. We will definitely be staying there again.”
“Good 2 day stay, rooms very clean and compact, lovely breakfast and staff are very pleasant. only issue for me was being a pub all rooms are up quite steep stairs and with walking problems you might find it difficult. location is perfect, the pub itself is good with reasonable prices for your drinks. even with my hip problems i would gladly go back to the royal.”
