“This site is perfectly placed placed for people who are doing the NC500 route.
Our chalet was pristine though very compact, there were a couple of other chalets in the same field but they were not so close as to overlook or encroach on our privacy. The cooking facilities in the chalet consisted of a toaster, a microwave and a kettle but we were prepared for this and brought food to suit. There was also a BBQ available but we didn't use it.
The chalet had excellent heaters and was very cosy.
The bed was nice and comfortable and the site was very quiet throughout our stay.
We had a walk around the animal pens in the morning before leaving and met some of the cutest Shetland ponies we had ever seen and some equally cute giant sheep that were actually bigger than the ponies.
It was a lovely peaceful place to stay with an excellent view over the Cromarty Firth.”
