  • Blaenywawr Annexe Review score: 9.4

“Quiet location, a little remote but within easy distance of Aberaeron. Enjoyed watching good variety of birds in the garden. Good beaches within easy striking distance (Tresaith, Penbryn, Aberporth, Cwmtudu and even Mwnt a little further away). The compact size of the annexe was fine for us but some might might not cope”

  • “We loved staying at the cottage! It was in a great location that was both rural so as to really enjoy the quiet and space but close enough to towns/villages so you didn’t feel cut off. The enclosed garden was an added bonus and meant that the dogs could really enjoy themselves as well. Previous properties we’ve stayed in we’ve had to have them on leads to go out which wasn’t ideal but it was lovely to see them enjoy the space this time. The hosts were also great- attentive with their welcome and sharing of fresh eggs and beautifully cut herbs but also respectful of visitors not wanting to feel ‘monitored’ or ‘overlooked’. The cottage itself was beautiful with a lovely combination of quirkiness and suitability for modern living. The kitchen was massive with a gorgeous dining table that was ideal for games nights and eating together. Overall this was a fabulous property! 💜”

  • “The info located in the welcome booklet was a nice touch and the walks with a detailed description were really nice and easy to follow, fishing was also brilliant!”

  • “Lovely comfortable caravan. Hosts really helpful. Campsite has really good amenities.”
