“Great for a short stay if you are visiting the area. Location was perfect as we were there for a hiking weekend, but if you're looking for restaurants/pubs/nightlife you'll have to drive. This is a budget hotel and I dont mean it in a bad way. What you get is great value for money and a great stay.
The hotel was very flexibile about leaving our cars on the premises even after we had checked out and gone for a days hike. Bed was surprisingly comfortable even though it didnt look like it at first glance - had a perfect nights sleep. Staff are warm and welcoming.
The real surpise came in the morning. Breakfast is EXCELLENT, we really weren't expecting the variety and tasty cooked to order options.
Overall I have to rate our stay as a 10. The facilities may not be to everyones preferences - they are good and clean, dont expect luxury but if your stay ends up being like ours, you'll leave very satisfied.”
