Need a coffee maker in the room

Loved the location and room but would have liked a coffee maker in the room. The bar made the best martini's in France!

Lack of coffee/tea making facilities in the room. The lobby/reception/bar area not very inviting.

The staff was top notch. The front desk was kind and helpful. Marisol was a 10. She helped us with everything including purchasing train tickets, recommendations and directions. Beautiful room, great breakfast, stunning view and great little town.

Beds need to have several blanket layers, the heavy thigh duvets are too hot. Provide free bottle water.

The outdoor furniture could do with an upgrade. Looking a bit tired. When the cruise ships arrive in the bay, the little town gets very busy indeed.

This hotel is well known for its location, right on the water front, with stunning views across Ville Franche Bay. Glorious sunshine in the morning, but , note, the sea view balconies lose the sun early afternoon. Lots of restaurants to choose from within walking distance and local train station takes you East to Monaco or West to Nice and Antibes.

Location is perfect right on the waterfront promenade... check in and all staff all very nice especially the new team member from Toronto! Perfect home base for exploring area! Balcony overlooking sea is super.

I would like to have hair conditioner, body lotion and a shower cap in the bathroom. I know it’s not normal in France but I love to have coffeemaking facilities in the room

The hotel is a little dated but in keeping with it;s surrounding a theme but all in good working order. No kettel tea or coffee facilities.

The location was lovely with all rooms with a sea view even classic rooms, the views watching the fisherman come and go with there catch, , the history of the hotel with all the famous visitors, the friendly staff and excellent service, the breakfast is one of the best and value for money and variety, access to a sauna was a bonus, the town has lovely old alley ways worth exploring day and night

The ideally located bar only serves breadsticks and potato chips with drinks. They could provide more interesting and filling nibbles. It mioght result in more drink sales too!

The location on the harbor is superb. I still remember the hotel from my first trip here courtesy of the US Navy back in 1968. But then, I was anchored out in the harbor. Villefranche is a one of a kind venue and a delightful alternative to staying in NIce while still ahving full access to the environs. Very decent breakfast and friendly staff. It is a reasonable cab ride to the Nice Airport. The town has changed a lot in 50+ years, some for the good, some not so, but that is true everywhere. All in all, glad to revisit my first French port of call.

The shower was over the bath rather than stand alone. Wouldn’t stop us returning.

Super location on the seafront. Perfect bar/dining area for breakfast and evening drinks. We had a Comfort room, designed like a ship cabin. Spotless, superb view and balcony. Highly recommend this hotel. Frédérique was very helpful on the front desk. The barman very friendly and breakfast staff very attentive.
