Sometimes cleaning service refilled the water, but mostly we were left with an empty bottle. Plus the dust wasn’t wiped off from the nightstands, unfortunately

Both the reception and dining room staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel itself is quite cozy and nice, not that noise. The breakfast were perfect for us

That's not even close from a "4 stars" hotel. The room was dirty (see pictures). The carpet was stained in pretty much every single corners, there was dust on most equipment. The bath was from last century with hairs on the sink, and most of the bathtub enamel completely worn out. The electric sockets came out of their slots. The toilet flush was partially open on arrival.

The general aspect is nice. Room seems clean at first sight. The bed is comfy, shower works, air conditioning is functional and the place was quiet. The building itself also looks nice and quite typical of Paris.

We liked the traditional decor in our room (that’s one of the reasons we chose Villa Montparnasse - we wanted to the room to feel Parisian, not like a generic hotel room anywhere in the world), but the fixtures could use an upgrade. The bathtub looked a little beat up, was high off the ground, and could be hard for an older or injured person to get in and out of.

Friendly, informative, and accommodating staff. We enjoyed our superior room with a city view and balcony.

The bathroom is dated and could be improved. The quality of the bread at breakfast could be better.

The room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Location is nice and quiet. The toilet in our bathroom didn’t work properly but it was quickly taken up and we were offered another room.

In general, I was happy with everything. Our bathroom was not necessarily state of the art and was a tad worn down, but it still worked properly.

The location is really wonderful. It is situated in a very nice area that is quite neat and close to some good restaurants (15 min walk). It is also very close to the metro so getting anywhere is very simple with one or two metro lines. The staff was very helpful with any questions and we really enjoyed our room that had a cute balcony. It was perfect for our stay (which was just two days).

On checking in I was asked to give them a card so they could put through a 50 euro sale in case I decided to use the mini bar. I felt this was unnecessary and explained I wouldn't be using the mini bar anyway. I'm addition, I was staying there at the end of my trip and using a card I had put money in to pay in euros. If I allowed them to do this I would have no money for meals for my last day there. This seemed a very old fashioned practice based on the minority of people who might take advantage, but I feel most people are more honest and maybe they should review their policy or have a mini bar that you would need to scan your card to use. After a bit of discussion I was eventually given permission for them not to put through a sale on my card for the 50 euros.

Our room had a view of cemetery,which it was shocking for us. The bathtub was not painted .

Such a great spot. Handy access to transport for CDG and everywhere else. Gorgeous area and lovely little bar next door. Friendly helpful staff. Great experience and would definitely recommend.

Bathroom was very dated with things patched up for a junior suite, the hotel suited our needs and this isn’t a complaint at all just being honest. Despite that we would be happy to stay here again.

Reception staff member who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the metro station and in an area away from the hustle and bustle but still lots of nice restaurants and other places in the surrounding area.

Very dated decor that made it seem a bit shabbier/uncleaned than it is. Otherwise all good.

The breakfast could have more fruit and vegetable options, but what they had was of quality.

The location is excellent. Plenty of bus lines, subway and train next in the vicinity. Direct connection to both airports by train. Charming hotel, with friendly staff and good facilities.

All the staff were really friendly and attentive throughout, from finding a cork screw to helping with a little passport conundrum. The location is great, with easy access to the subway and many bakeries and food/wine shops just a stroll away.

A beautiful boutique in an excellent Parisian location. Amazingly helpful and accommodating staff (particularly Cyrine & Laurent) as well as a great French breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Breakfast 6.5 out of 10, whould be great to have more savory options and vegetbles. Please, add instructions for the egg boiler and specify time required for different types of boiled eggs. Shower mixer should be fixed. Would be great to have a kettle in the room.

Amazing staff, great location Denfert-Rochereau station just 5 minutes from the hotel (direct RER line to Charles de Gaulle Airport), good mattress, coffee machine in the room. I would most likely stay again.

The door on the room did not fit the doorframe properly. There was a large gap on one side. Breakfast was a disappointment. No fresh fruit. Coffee only from a self-service machine
