Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe bathroom door wasn’t closing and it would have Bremen great to have a kettle in the room and/or a coffee machine (even though we could ask for it at the reception) as it is sometimes more convenient to have one handy.
The hotel looks really nice. The location is great. The staff was great (especially the Lebanese lady at the reception) and very helpful despite the fact it was a busy time with The Festival.

IrelandHotel falsely advertises that it has a partner beach but reception advised us that this partnership had not been renewed in 2024 (despite website & hotel info still saying so). Therefore, you need to use the public beach which can be very busy or pay to sit at the beach clubs (upwards of €35 per lounger)... There was complimentary water in the bedroom when we arrived but this was never replenished over the 4 nights. We were facing the front of the hotel so it can be a little noisy with the traffic in the mornings.
Location was good, close to the Private Beach Clubs and Public Beach. However, the hotel does not have a partner beach despite the website saying it does. Good AC in the room. Bed was comfy and bathroom is a nice size with plenty of space for clothes etc.

SwitzerlandThe reception team could be much more attentive and friendly. Their job(s) got done. But without any sense of hospitality. We e.g. asked 2x if a parking slot is available. Both time the answer was no. The next day, we have heard how they tried to sell 2 available slot to new guests. We didn’t got contacted as nobody cares. Like this, you could also switch to a self-checking approach and make the price even more attractive.
Price-Value-Ratio is great! Rooms have a good size, location is good. The hotel offers everything needed.

Clean well designed and maintained hotel and rooms. Nice garden, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, i my case small balcony (without furniture) good tv. Right next door big supermarket and really close to Rue d’Antibes.

Great location, and rate is excellent at this periode of the year. The morning staff is very efficient and proactive, thanks to the lady for bringing us the iron and coffee.
