Nice size for a couple. Very clean. Near the railway station. Fairly quiet. Close to centre of the Bastide. Lift available (apartment is on second floor). Well equipped kitchen. Heated towel rail.

We liked everything!

We loved everything about this apartment! It even had a lift for our luggage! Its location was perfect. The apartment catered beautifully for all our needs. The host was great to to communicate with. He was so welcoming, showed us everything in the apartment and how it all worked and gave us a town map.

Great location, close to the station, clean and cosy flat, very nice hosts. We had a dead battery in our phone and had no way to inform about the change of arrival time, but the hosts patiently waited for us. Very grateful for their hospitality and patience.

My only comment is that is was rather warm and may benefit from an AC unit during warmer weather. But by no means did this ruin our stay.

The property was clean and well situated Ford exploring the medieval city. Also an easy 10 mins drive from Carcassonne airport.

The house was impeccably clean, warm, cared and had everything you need to have a wonderful and relaxed stay. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Carcassonne. It is extremely well located, close to the train station, and a walkable distance from the medieval city. The host was there to receive us and also to say farewell, and was very helpful regarding our concerns. If I ever return to Carcassonne in my lifetime, I will definitely try to stay here again. Truly a great home.

Nothing I didn’t like. I was happy with rental and value for price. The shower stall is small but totally fine and European style and the heated towel rack is lovely.

Clean and comfortable. The pull out couch worked well for our two kids. The bedroom has double windows so street sounds are barely noticeable. Close to train station so after a voyage and no car being able to walk easily there was good. It’s about a 10 or less minute walk to the bridge and about 20 to the main entrance to old town. When we looked, other places seemed either not as nice or some kind of hassle, this is easy and comfortable. Has elevator if you have big bags. A bottle of water and milk is nice as is the coffee and tea.

This lovely apartment is exceptional in every way…. close to the railway station, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Small extra touches like fresh milk, tea and coffee were a welcome addition . The owners met us at the apartment and provided us with a city map and other helpful advice. The castle us about a 2 km walk from the property but this is. a very interesting walk which takes in the ancient town. so glad we found this property!

I suggest they should add air conditioning thus in summers Carcasonne could be hot and as this appartment is in front of an avenue, windows must be closed during night.
