Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe website is totally inaccurate. There is no food available at night so you have to go out looking. Not what you need after an 8 hour drive!

BelgiumThe hotel is situated next to a metro stop, which makes it easily accessible from the train station. It is also just a few minutes away from the city centre. The room was of a more than decent size, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast offers a wide choice of excellent, fresh products. I would definitely recommend it.

NetherlandsVery far from the train station The receptionist was not there when I arrived. There was no way to reach him The hotel is next door to a McDonalds and a KFC. 'Nuf said. The area around has very few cafés opened at 21:20 The hotel was loaded down with a crowd of Italian grandmothers with their grandchildren, probably to let the parents take some quality time off away from all the screaming. A very good idea we should all follow. Hence, the unavoidable shrill screaming and the banging of doors. I am a fan of Mercure but this is a place to avoid.

United StatesSpacious lobby with plenty of seats and couches and a large TV (showing the Olympics when we visited). Room very comfortable and well climate controlled. The direct access to parking was a big plus too. Only a 10-12 min walk to the center.

United StatesI was a little a put off initially when asked, in the name of sustainability, how often I would like my room cleaned. When I responded every day I was met with some bemusement. I am paying for the stay and the amenities that come with it and shouldn't be made to feel that I'm destroying the planet because I want my bed made everyday. The rooms do not have luggage racks, but I never bothered to ask for one either (should be one in every room IMHO). These minor annoyances did not significantly detract from stay.
Excellent hotel that is the closest to the Pierre Baudis Congress Center and a Metro stop right out the front door. Walking distance to Old Town Toulouse with all the magnificent charm and warmth that this delightful city has to offer. A very helpful staff that was always willing to answer questions about Toulouse and to call and make reservations. Magnificent breakfast. The rooms are spacious with normal bathrooms (by American standards).

United KingdomGood breakfast but finished at 9.30 which is a little early for tourists, 10.00 would be better. Food seemed expensive and very limited choice so we did not eat there. Located next to stunning park well worth a visit.

AustraliaFantastic and friendly reception staff on arrival. The room was spacious and had a view to the gardens next door. The bed was comfortable and large windows. Breakfast was really varied and something for everyone. Tip: there’s a Japanese restaurant (I know it’s France haha) at the front that’s very small with upstairs seating - their ramen is fantastic.

United KingdomIt's a bit pricey, but maybe for France, that's about the price you would expect for a clean room and the great services available.
The place was spotless and in good shape. The shower had a bit too little water pressure, which is not great, but it was hot at any time of the day, so I'm happy with that already. The Internet was free and fast, and the breakfast was plentiful.
