Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceIt was a good place for large groups -- but if you were alone, or even in a couple, you might feel a bit pushed to the side. The dining rooms are divided and I felt very lonely sitting in a large room while everyone else was in the adjacent dining room. It didn't feel inclusive.

United StatesThe breakfast left something to be desired. There was fruit, yogurt, croissants, and salami but I wish there were eggs or cereal available. Then again, I knew that savory and large breakfasts are the general way of life in France. I also should've taken a look at Google Maps to see that the hotel was up a significant incline. I only minded the hill late at night after a full day of walking and when pulling my luggage up to the hotel.
The staff at Hotel Stella were fantastic - very helpful and kind. They were able to accommodate my few requests such as calling for a taxi at the end of my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Coming from the US and after a week of small elevators and rooms, I stopped expecting an abundance of space everywhere I went. There was just enough room to walk around the bed and wheel my small luggage into the room but not much else (image tries to show the view from the door to the bed. the black column is not the door, it's the closet). The bed wasn't too firm (but it was firm). The room is air-conditioned. The location to the Lourdes Sanctuary was very close and there were many restaurant options within a couple minutes' walk.

PhilippinesThe room is small for a 3 pax, good enough for 2 though. The bathroom sizes were weird. The toilet was too big while the shower was small. For the breakfast, i didnt like the cold boiled eggs. (must be a french thing).
Breakfast was good. The croissant was pretty good for me. Decent selection of drinks from tea, coffee, etc. Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful though the one who handled us cannot speak English which was a little bit hard.
