Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt's in a business district, so they don't serve food or drinks (other than breakfast) on Friday nights and over the weekend. We were there for the rugby at the weekend so while it was a great location for the stadium, they should think about putting on more facilities on weekends when there are likely to be fans staying.
Clean, comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

United KingdomWE arrived on Friday and the restaurant was not open that evening. But we were directed to a very nearby restaurant which was very nice. Not a problem but a bit unusual. The reception and ground floor areas were all modern and pleasant. The bedrooms, however, are a bit basic but comfortable enough for short stay.
We booked the hotel to be near to the Stadium of Nice as we were attending a rugby match there. As advertised it was just a five minute easy walk to the stadium and perfect for us. The bar and restaurant ( when open ) were pleasant and the breakfast provided a good choice of food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.

CanadaIncredibly small thing. The Scambled eggs were a little under done and sloppy. Perhaps speaking only for some North Americans (and I do understand there are others), we normally prefer them a little more cooked. Again, super small.
If you arrive at the airport there is a tram outside that stops 200M from the hotel. It costs 1.75E as opposed to the 40E we paid the taxi. The tram will aslo take you to the St.Augustin train station or a variety of spots around the city, so the hotel is very convenient. Its also one block from a large supermarket if you need literally anything. The hotel staff are a 10. The property was spotless and the breakfast was outstanding. If your from North America the coffee is outstanding. As a small aside its very close to the stadium so if your seeing a sporting event or what not, its right there. As far as value is concerned its execellent.

ItalyThe pool is a bit small. I had an issue when I asked for a taxi to the airport (6km away). A taxi without meter has arrived and pretended me to pay 45€ for the travel. Hotel location is on a main road: even though I didn't have the time to visit the area more, I cannot say what is there.
The hotel is very nice, clean and with lots of services available. The restaurant deserves a visit both for breakfast and dinner as quality of food and dishes were great. The room and bathroom are really comfortable, even with a little balcony available. The pool spot is nice and towel service was a plus.

United KingdomFood a bit strange - some form of fusion. Don't ask for cheese. No other restaurants locally. Staff don't know about local transport to the airport (trams) which on-line said they closed at 10pm but I saw them at the airport at midnight. On reflection, I would have stayed at the airport hotels and took the hit on the overnight parking costs since my return taxi was 50 euros - more than parking.

Austria- everything is quite expensive - restaurant closes at 21:30, and at the weekend it is closed (in July!) - hot water in the shower takes an eternity - staff is friendly but not very helpful
- location directly next to the highway (good if you are travelling and only want to stay for sleeping) - big closed parking lot - clean and comfortable, pool looks very nice - silent

United States of AmericaIt's isolated, there is carpet on the floors, a horrible smell in the elevators and the water itself smells like sewage. Food is not great but it's "fine." Amenities super limited. No mini-bar, just bad Nestle water bottles in an empty fridge. It's pretty far from Nice depending on traffic.
Property is "fine", a bit isolated but it's nice when you have a car to have free parking, a restaurant (not great but fine) on site and a pool. Staff is nice. Room service is available.
