The room was smaller than expected and the bathroom needed maintenance eg paint on the ceiling and varnish on the woodwork. Also, I personally don’t like memory foam mattresses and it was soft for me.

Location, everything worked, quality tea, cleanliness, outlook from balcony. Reception staff were friendly and helpful on the whole and two of them barely looked up to greet us.

Again a typically European city property, decorations need badly updating but somehow its shabbiness added to its charm and rather “ bijou” to say the least but the bed was comfortable and spotlessly clean , fluffy clean towels and a working shower bath and toilet can’t ask for more than that, and it was quiet considering it was in the heart of everything I close to the Latin Quarter

The rooms are just ok, a little old. The lighting/illumination in the room is poor. The bathrooms are in serious need for a makeover as you can see the bathtubs leaking water at times from the sides. But this is something you can overlook. Rooms are of different sizes, so, ask for spacious rooms, preferably not near the street corners cause they have just one window instead of two.

The location of the hotel is great (you have metro, bus station right outside, within walking distance to the famous tourist spots), the staff is very warm, welcoming and helpful, breakfast options are decent, the view from the windows is pleasant (if you book a street facing room). We asked for a room change considering our room was poor lit and the staff happily agreed, unlike some experiences we have had in the past with other hotels.

Great location and staff. Breakfast was good and convenient. It has great restaurants and cafes right around the corner. It’s close to Notre-Dame Dame and only 15 minute walk to Louvre.

The Location of the hotel is in the near of all good locations and also near to the underground rail station. If you want to reach everything by foot this is the rite place to stay.

Dining area as described by previous guests was very short on space. The lady who ran the breakfast room needs to have some customer relation course, very abrupt and a smile wouldn’t go a miss.

The elevator was minuscule, and you had to go up three steps to get into it, the stairs were pretty narrow and there really was not a lobby

Typically small room but it seemed to have too much furniture with a bench, chairs, the desk, cupboard, beds, etc. so we couldn't really open the windows.

The location was great - right by the Seine and Notre Dame and extremely easy access to the Metro
