We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

RomaniaOur room has designated for handicaped people (room 101 on the 1st floor). But this was not the problem. Let's start with the bed - the MATRESS WAS RUINED (damaged cogs created a valley on the right side of the bed). I dit not encounter this problem anywhere in the world. I should have asked the staff to replace it. In the bathroom, the drainage system was a little bit noisy (maybe because of the room's type). Our room was situated right next to the elevator and the stairs and you cand hear everything on the hallway (people entering their rooms, slamming doors and speaking loudly).
We just expected more from a KYRIAD hotel, because we arrived from St Malo, where we stayed at the same hotel. The staff was friendly. There were 2 parking options (free - in front of the hotel, paid - in the garage below the hotel), but you don't find every day a parking spot in these 2 locations. The hotel is located in a vicinity of a busy avenue, but you didn't hear the noise of the street. After a 10-15 minute walk, you reach the Centre of Rouen which is surprisingly a beautiful city.

Very quiet room in hotel close to city centre and all its attractions. Parking €7 per day was very reasonable, and allowed us to park up to 4pm on day of departure. Spacious room was clean and comfortable and we luckily had views of the cathedral towers in one direction and the River Seine in the other.

IrelandI had a problem with my Credit Card when I tried to pay on arrival. I contacted Visa and the problem was resolved and I paid by the card later in the day. On checking my card at 05:45 the next morning I noticed that 2 payments of €89.10 was deducted from my card. I spoke to the receptionist and he checked his computer and he said that only one payment was deducted. I contacted Visa this morning and they confirm that 2 payments were deducted. I have emailed the Kyriad Hotel this morning asking for a refund and so far I have received no response. As the booking was through Booking.com can you contact the hotel and arrange for the refund. I was staying in room 416. PLease let me know what is the situation!!! Michael Connolly.

United KingdomWe expected a private car park. Hotel seemed unloved & tired. Breakfast room lacked any joie de vivre or personality. Milk wasn't replenished on first day & no staff around. Room was compact so each time you brushed past the curtain it drew open. Expired lightbulb and coffee cups weren't replaced when room was serviced. Noise at night from other guests banging room doors. Be aware that hotel has busy roads on two sides!
We were able to park free of charge which was unexpected. Our room overlooked a corporate car park so was quiet - away from the busy roads. Comfy bed. Good bathroom/shower. Towels & toiletries were decent quality. Breakfast was fine. Area & location was very good - easy walk into the old town & also to the river & a supermarket.
