Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Loved the staff, very friendly, spoke English to help. Lovely superior room with two balconies. Opposite the lake for a lovely swim and a lively little bar on the lake front.

We visited Rivage hotel as a family with two teenagers and a dog - we were all made to feel very welcome! Our rooms were spacious and comfortable each with a large balcony. The hotel's pool area is large and very relaxing with several jacuzzi and sauna facilities. We enjoyed sitting in the summer 'beach' area with deckchairs and sand, and the large comfortable bar area was great for watching the Olympics on a large screen. Our dog was welcomed in all areas and always offered a bowl of water which was very much appreciated in the hot weather. Excellent buffet for breakfast with a lot of choice. In particular there was delicious bread and locally made jam. There is secure parking on site for both cars and bikes, and the location is excellent for access to the lake just across the road and the town about 20 minutes walk along the shore. We will definitely go back for another stay!

United KingdomA Grey instead of white dressing gown that must have been washed with something dark as it looked disgusting! I mentioned it to the receptionist because it needed to be taken out of the wardrobe . NOT EVEN SUITABLE TO GIVE TO ANY CHARITY or THRIFT SHOP as it looked terrible.
