Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

As an American visiting Paris for the 2024 Olympics we were concerned about finding accommodations that had the following: Fridge Ice Safe AC Balcony Microwave Stovetop Access to a nearby Metro, RER, and Bus Transportation Larger than normal Paris room English-speaking employees. Well, guess what? Residhotel Imperial Rennequin checked all our boxes and exceeded our expectations (which were high) . You are within walking distance of a large market (Monoprix) with local prices, an outstanding bakery (La Pompadour) many inexpensive cafes and restaurants, and more importantly, you can go anywhere in Paris from the Pereire Metro Station. The 10-minute walk to/from the metro takes you past the market, the bakery, and many small eateries so on your way to/from your destination you can pick up food and drinks to take with you or back to your hotel. The photos on there website are accurate. Leticia, Pedro, Lina, and the housekeeping team were all outstanding. Do not hesitate to stay here!!! TIPS Ask how to get out of the locked gate at night, it's not obvious Elevator - 0 is the ground floor with an exit to the street, not floor 1 We brought ice trays just in case but they did provide us with one I don't know if they have fans but we bought a small one at Monoprix for our 12-night stay as it didn't get cool enough for us AC American freaks! Bring a ziplock for leftovers as there are no storage containers Keep the electric shade and bathroom door closed during the day, it keeps it cooler Ask for a printout of all of the major attractions which shows which train/bus to take There is a vegetable/fruit stand one block away, buy produce there instead of Monoprix as it's fresher and cheaper Buy the ham & cheese croissant and chocolate croissant from La Pompadour Bring washed clothes as they do not provide them

AustraliaThe place requires quiet a bit of maintenance - especailly the bathroom. The wooden floor does not help as the bath over the shower adds to the problem. I can not say if a good shower screen over the tub would help. A good clean of the floor may help in having grit on the floor around - we picked this fact from the cream colored suitcases that were on the floor
It provided space in an area of Paris where space is a valuable item

JapanI think this hotel can get more customer satisfaction and better business outcome, if some repair and renovation, more polite room cleaning, and standarization are applied to thier rooms and equipments. While I stayed, I saw the following problem. - Lack of hair dryer in the room while my friend’s room had. (*But when I told it to the reception, they gave me one soon :D) - Hot water was suddenly stopped when I took a shower. (*reception soon gave me another room for shower and call the technics :D) - Front gate and security box of the grand floor suddenly stopped working, so some guests were about to be locked out. (*reception soon checked and call the technics :D) Also, I found some dust and hair in the bed and bathroom even after room cleaning. I felt the some kind of sour smell like vinegar when I enter the room and in the refrigerator. In addition, there is a big difference between each rooms. Some rooms has a good view and confortable condition, while others don't have and very dark due to the less room light. So either guests can get better experience or not depends on which room is asigned.
There ware a lot of good points, but espwcially the reception staffs are excellent in their hospiyality! When I got trouble in staying or equipment in the room, they always tried their best to support me and gave me the altenative way to get over the problem.

IrelandI was delighted to see we had a balcony, but in fact it faced into a dark area at the back of the building, so it was of little use.
Location was very covenient. Room was very comfortable. My only issue would be with the bath and shower. No grab-rails on the very high bath to get at the shower, so it was quite difficult to get at the shower, especially as I am in my seventies.

GermanyIt would require small renovation. The hotel prices in Paris are bigger than in most of the other cities.
It was cozy and we felt like home. It was close to Arc de Triomphe and the metro was pretty close. It was clean. Te reception is in the small building next to the one with the rooms for guests. Kitchen was important for us. Good quality for the bed.

United KingdomEverything was fine, the only real thing which I would have liked is for the outdoor seating area to be a bit smarter, with some perennial flowers/plants in the border as it was slightly scruffy looking.
Apartment was large with a very comfortable bed and enough kitchen equipment to be able to cater for ourselves no problem, although breakfast was available if required. Felt secure due to entry coded outer gated entrance and a further code to enter the building.

My mom enjoyed the property very much. It is a very comfortable living situation and the apartment amenities such as the dishes, microwave, and stove added to the comfort of home away from home. Great and efficient staff as well! The staff are really kind.

Israel1. The bath was very high, and from the side you are suppose to enter it, it's diagonal. They should have had a handle on the wall. I helped my kids to enter the bath. 2. The rooms are opened by key. We took 2 rooms, but one of the rooms, had only 1 key, which made us knock the whole time. 2 keys/ cards are minimal. 3. It's not that close to the metro stations.
The team was very nice, especially Taha, it's clean, the bed was very comfortable, a big room, the heating was good, a quiet area, yet you can find a place to eat breakfast and dinner nearby.
