Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe stove does not have a vent, and all the steam was collecting under the cabinet. Bathroom can be cleaner. The pool closed early at 7PM.
Great space & comfortable. Large enough parking for my family van. My kids loved the heated pools.

Czech RepublicFantastic for traveling with family or friends. Great facilities with a swimming pool in the middle of the beautiful scenery and nature of Normandy. We came for the 80th anniversary of Operation Overlord. The place is exactly a short distance from the invasion Omaha beach and the American Cemetery. The Overlord Museum is also nearby. Don't expect a Hilton stay from it. But it has its own atmosphere, thanks to which you will forgive the worn-out interior of the houses. Baker goes there every morning. And on the weekend there are various food trucks. (where you can buy pizza or kebab)

United KingdomThe kitchen equipment was a little tired and there was no tin opener, but that's picking holes! The rest of the accommodation and the kitchen in general was fantastic and such great value for money.
Loved the quiet chilled out atmosphere and pleasant helpful staff. It was a perfect mud week break with my young family.

United KingdomTowels were tiny, hand towels for showering! €5 for 2 baguettes from the epicerie van, they were 80c in the supermarket!!!! The crepe van was very slow, we queued for 1 hour for 4 cold crepes!!!, it actually put us off buying food from the vans for the rest of the week! Swimming pool got very busy in the afternoon!!! Not having an oven with 3 children was hard!...as much as I loved having the dishwasher, an oven in the kitchenette would have made life much easier!
Bed was really comfortable. Lovely little house, nice location, lovely outside space! Clean and tidy on arrival!

PolandIt was cold inside of the apartment (10 Celsius temp degree). No one even turned on the heathers before our arrival, no wood for the fireplace (had to go and buy some in the nearest town), it took more than 24h to get the temp inside of the apartment to 19-20 Celsius, no breakfast at the place, just w food truck coming in the morning and selling baguettes and croissants

United Kingdomjust a bit too much dog poo in the areas where our children wanted to play.
Superb location, so much to explore in the area even if you are not interested in the Normandy landings, lovely feel to the place, facilities were good, these Pierre & Vacances resorts are such good value and pitched so well for family holidays. The local port should not be overlooked and has a great market.

United KingdomNo oven in the kitchen, (would prefer this instead of dishwasher). Some areas could do with extra cleaning e.g. bathroom blind was very dusty. The sauna was not working when we used the indoor pool area on 28.9.2023 Would prefer an enclosed garden area for the dog.
The location was an ideal base for the D Day museums and beaches. The site was nice and quiet and dog friendly. Friendly and helpful staff on reception., gave advice and information to help us enjoy our experience. The kitchen was well equipped for self catering with hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher (but no oven).

SlovakiaWe missed the restaurant and cafe a bit but it was partly compensated by the food trucks that came there regularly almost every day after 5pm.
We were happy with the location and the type of accommodation. The children had plenty to keep them entertained: playground, ping pong, petanque, swimming pool and lots of games - ball games as well as board games

United KingdomThe biggest thing missing was a bar or restaurant, but it wouldn't put me off staying here again.
The staff were very helpful. We thought the pool facilities were excellent, both indoor and outdoor, which our children loved. The breadman came every morning selling the best croissants and baguettes and a pizza trailer came twice a week. One night, the resort organised a band and local vendors, selling beer and oysters, which was fantastic.

Germanythe accommodation was a little run down. the paint was very chipped on the front door, giving it a grungy look. the room smelled like wet dog when we arrived, but luckily the scent dissipated. the room was tight, but for our family of 5 just fine for sleeping. we arrived very late in the evening on our first night. I tried contacting the company to let them know and I never heard back, hoping we’d find our key waiting for us, we kept going. luckily the key was there but it would have been nice to been given a response back so I didn’t have to stress our whole drive there.
the pool area and playground were very well kept and fun for our family. we traveled with 2 adults and 3 children (6,6,3). the location was close to Normandy sights, but a car is still a must in the area. free parking on site, pizza food truck was good on Friday night.
