Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandPoor sound insulation allowed all noise from surrounding rooms and corridors and disturbed sleep Daily cleaning was limited and overall unsatisfactory Hotel restaurant was poorly managed and with limited eating options. Most waiters were quite young and could not offer advice on kitchen and plates. Breakfast felt cheap and of low quality despite a rich list of options. We ended up eating both breakfast and meals outside although we would have liked to eat few times at the hotel restaurant
Excellent location close to Beach and basic shopping area (super market-pharmacy-few restaurants) Spacious room with large bathroom and many storage areas Nice and relaxing summery decoration Nice swimming pool and related facilities Very helpful and polite staff Public areas and Salons have a superb view

SwitzerlandWe had a room with a view on the parking which actually meant that we have been woken up at 6am in the morning with delivery cars. On the other side of the room, close to the entrance: the staff was vacuum cleaning at 6:30 am: definitely not a good place to sleep. Not to mention the light in the room (through the curtains). We had one breakfast there : nothing was good: only industrial pancakes, breads.... Finally, the evening of our arrival : we decided to have dinner on the beautiful terrace: there was only a buffet so we chose to have the buffet. There was extremely limited choice of meals and the food was tasteless. When we left the hotel, we had the bad surprise to discover that the price of the buffet was 59€ per person.
The room size was perfect for a family with 4 beds. The swimming pool is pleasant, close to the sea but absolutely NOT clean at the end of the day.

SpainWe booked originally double with sea view and standard twin. We were offered upgrade on the second room to be twin with sea view at additional 30€ a night (5 nights €150€) to be a view of the bushes and flat roof top of the restaurant). That was the room for my teenage kids (15&18) and we were told they will be below us they were given room 001 and we were 166 two different floors and wings of hotel. Pillows are small square and bad. Also the road runs between the beach and the pool so we had the sign of upcoming round about in every photo. Breakfast was random… fresh egg station was the best everything else was really questionable. Accordingly to hotel breakfast is served from 6.30am till 10.30. We most of the time arrived between 9.30 and 10am (adults). My daughter (18y old) made it once at 7am my soon (15y). At 9.45 there was no milk, normal yoghurt, on the last two days orange juice (choice is only orange and superbly sticky and sweet apple juice) and on the hot section few bacon and sausages if lucky. Very grumpy old blond manager of the restaurant will refuse to replenish or would not could care less and out of 4 coffee machines 3 would be out of coffee at 10.20 without being replenished or offered else. If you arrive for breakfast at 10.15 you will be basically eating bread and sad looking ham if lucky as at that point there will be no pastry, fruit will be long gone except half of pineapple as decoration and they even put shutters down on egg station on 3 mornings at 10.20. At 350€ a room that we paid with breakfast absolutely appalling! Just looking at few plates lunch time we were not tempted to eat at the pool bar or restaurant.
Double see view room was extremely specious very clean and beds were on the hard side as I like.

SwitzerlandIt is not a a 5 star and not value for the money. Facilities are kind of 4 star or below. Very poor service. Not good for non french speakers. Except in reception nobody speaks English. Some staffs are rude. Food is horrible at the restaurant. Pool bar is awful. Limited parking space and paid parking. If you are looking for luxury avoid it.
Good location, beachfront with nice outdoor pool.

United KingdomOther than breakfast the experience with meals is not what is expected from a Raddison Blu hotel. Different menus are offered at different times in different locations, but they are all limited, as is the flexibility to alter anything on the menu. This is particularly disappointing with regards to the resturaunt menu and quality of the food served. Depending on what room you stay in the wifi might be fantastic or not so good.
Hotel is clean and spacious, rooms are large. We had a suite and premium double, both overlooking the see. Sunsets were fantastic. Breakfast was good, large selection for everyone's taste. Location is great, across from a wonderful beach, with a number of restaurants close by as well as a well stocked supermarket. Pool was fantastic for the kids. Even when the poolwas busy, there was plenty of room in the pool and loungers.

AustriaIt's a big hotel and somehow lacks flair! If you like big hotels with good service, that's not a problem.... The sea view is great, but between the hotel and the sea there is a road with quite a lot of traffic. So it a little bit loud sometimes. We booked a few months in advance and the price was expensive! A few days before our arrival the price was reduced by almost 40%, but we had already paid and could no longer cancel. So be aware that prices can vary by a great margin!
The sea view is perfect and it is also very clean. Rooms are large and especially the balcony is very comfortable!

FranceHotel would benefit its clients if it has a shuttle bus that ran to and from Porticcio which would also double up to catch the ferry to Ajaccio town. It would have been nice as a non smoker to have part of the Resturant area designated to non smokers. Not pleasant eating with passive smoking.
Fantastic views, great location super clean super staff.

FranceStaff not customer oriented. Four star hotel with a payant fitness….not really understandable. The whole offer on booking is un precise: Indicated: 1.:Parking paiement 10€ where it is free 2. Spa is in the hotel title, bit it is also not clear that you have to pay for the basics - hammam, sauna, hot pool. 3. Fitness - not for free as part of the spa where you have to pay entrance per personne 4. External swimming pool: Only free facility but undersized for 160 rooms with less than half of it spots, lounge chairs

FinlandThe restaurant of the hotel is too pricy and the dishes are too advanced. There should be a Brasserie side for those who want to enjoy a standard family dinner. We got a water bottle in the room only on the first day. It would have been nice to get a new one every day. Small detail but would have been the cherry on the cake. One has to pay to access the spa/fitness center.
Great hotel just by the sea with big size rooms with enormous bed and spacy balcony with view on the Mediterranean sea. The staff was very friendly and the facilities were amazing. It was very nice to wake listening to the waves and sit on the balcony or on the terrace in the evening and watch the sunset. Great breakfast with fresh produces and a lot of choice.

TurkeyThere was an ant problem in the room. Despite efforts to address it with medication, the issue wasn't resolved. It could be seasonal, but there are seasonal transitions in every region, and it's the first time I've encountered this many ants in a room."

FranceThe breakfast buffet was lacking selection - no porridge, very few cereals, the hot food selection was poor and the bacon was very bad. There were no gluten-free options I could find. It was surprisingly far away from Ajaccio town despite being in Ajaccui Bay - but that is something I should have double-checked myself. There are a few good restaurants close by but not very much else in the area.
As expected with a Radisson hotel, the quality was good. We had a nice spacious room and balcony. We paid extra for a sea view which was worth the money, had a comfortable bed and large bathroom. Good selection of toiletries. It is close to the beach (just across the road), but with a nice pool area and gym. The bar area was pleasant to sit in the evening. And the view for breakfast was lovely.
