Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FinlandThe bathroom, toilet and kitchen were clean but the floor were not clean at this time. The cleaner should pay more attention to it too perhaps and the sofabed was not very comfortable and not enough beddings for the number of ppl we booked for. otherwise we had a good stay. With mentioned issues so rated this stay at an 8 but if without those I would have rated a 9.5.
The location of the building is very convenient and only 5-8mins to the center by car. Easy to find free parking spots near by as well. There is also a huge supermarket around the corner(2-min walk). The apartment we had was big spacous with big balcany and well equipped with kitchen appliances and tableware (no microwave though). The master bedroom bed was comfy and has bath tub. The host prepared a cute little goodies tray on our arrival (cookies, coffee, tea, bread, milk etc.) It was very well thought of. The host Mr.Authur was polite and very attentive to responding his messages when we need assistance with something or any questions regarding our stay. The pickup and drop-off key went smoothly. The instruction was clear and easy.

United Kingdomduring the last decade staying at this aparthotel i have stayed in 'hotel accommodation' with images on booking representing the flats. not personal items etc. this is no longer the case and Booking.com and the establishment needs to be transparent about this setup which is more like airbnb. You basically book a privately owned flat with personal items etc. as if you were booking an airbnb. I was very surprised to arrive at a flat that had so many personal items, not to mention it was rather dirty with crumbs and dusty surfaces indicating the owners rather than a professional cleaner had cleaned the property. Whilst the manager took it upon himself to clean the apartment as well as remove some of the unsightly personal items (flat was packed with ornaments), there were several aspects that does not meet the expectations of an aparthotel: fridge and freezer wasn't cleaned, utensils was placed in a drawer with kitchen roll in the drawer to dry or protect it - not a new piece of kitchen roll but one that had clearly been there for some time; some dishes not cleaned well in the cupboard, lots of personal items such as wine corks in the drawers (from previous wine bottles that the owner was saving?) etc. No cleaning throughout the week and we had to buy toilet paper ourselves which again is very much airbnb style rather than aparthotel. Considering this has been my go to place for more than a decade Im discouraged to see this development of a formerly much loved place in Cannes
I have stayed at Arthur Bel Air during the summer for over a decade and love the location, the ease of the flats and the amenities. in particular when the flats were aparthotel and owned by Arthur bel Air although this is apparently not the case anymore - this is more of a time share/airbinb setup where the vendor is the middleman of holiday letting owners flats in the building

United KingdomThe sink is in the corner of a very tiny kitchen and hard to get at. The bathroom in proportion to the kitchen is very large and not needed. The large shower head needs descaling as water went all over the bathroom when we used it. Needs a full length mirror in the hallway.
Nice quiet location about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. Supermarket a few minutes walk from the property. We liked the secure building and car park and that there is a lift , which is great for carrying luggage in hot weather. The apartment has very good air conditioning and is generally well equipped. Overall a nice modern apartment in a nice area.
