Gilles es and Mickael are fantastic hosts, private garden is wonderful respite from the town and perfect picnic spot. Very convenient parking (once they show you where it is).

Parking (in the street or parking lot across from the front of house) at our initial checkin was slightly challenging but the parking available once we checked in and during our stay was very convenient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clos de la Croix; the hospitality of our hosts Michael and Gilles is unparalleled and the house and gardens are a delight. The location is wonderful for exploring Bayeux, everything is easily walkable and breakfast was delicious.

This home is gorgeous! We loved the courtyard and the beautiful green garden with its hidden spots and we especially loved the room and decor. It’s very traditional with splashes of whimsy and delight sprinkled in!

Michael &Gillies were exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them to make your stay perfect. The house is ideally situated to walk to everything. Gullies apple crumble was to die for. We would definitely recommend this quirky perfect little B & B. The free parking was a bonus.

This property was beautiful in so many ways. The attention to detail in everything from the decor, the indoor and outdoor spaces and our room were amazing. Our hosts were exceptional and all their recommendations were excellent. We will definitely return!

Everything was to perfection.

Location couldn't have been better to visit Bayeux. Gilles and Michael are exceptional hosts. Their home and beautiful gardens are stunning. From the minute you arrive till the minute you depart, they both can not do enough to make your stay at the B and B and in Bayeux more memorable!

A fabulous place to stay! Gilles and Michael are superb hosts - fun, attentive and extra helpful. Attention to detail is meticulous, down to the carefully matched and coordinated breakfast settings and the decor in each and every room. Breakfast itself varied each day but consistently excellent. Gorgeous gardens complement the experience. Location is perfect, with an easy walk to everywhere in Bayeux and public parking out the back gate.

We liked EVERYTHING!! Our every need was resolved by Michael & Gilles. The location was excellent and allowed us to visit many sights in Bayeux.

The breakfast was splendid!! Michael had seated us at a table overlooking the garden and were served fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, breads, ham, cheese, fresh orange juice and unlimited hot coffee with milk. The breakfast exceeded all our expectations.

The hosts, Michael and Gilles were absolutely fantastic. You could tell they had a commitment to making sure that their guests were comfortable. They were flexible about breakfast time and it was always fresh and delicious.

Check in times were later than we expected, and the owners are not on sight all day long so dropping off our luggage was not possible.

Great Property; a vintage 5 room b&b on beautiful grounds that has been fully restored. The hosts could not be more friendly and welcoming. Its location is perfect in downtown Bayeux.

I loved it all. My only comment here would be: the pillows were nice but I would have prefered a few extra and larger.

The location was perfect. The grounds were astounding. The accommodations were phenomenal. Michael and Gilles were welcoming. Breakfast was tasty. Free parking was nice. I felt like I was residing in an art gallery. It was perfect, personal and comfortable.

Not an unreasonable request by the owners, but due to ‘no food or drink’ policy, we were unable to enjoy the wine & cheese we purchased in our room.

Beautiful French manor both traditional and eclectic. Room was spacious with beamed ceilings. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely.
