Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe rooms decor was somewhat scuffed and there was an odd dried stain on my curtain which I couldn't explain. Some of the staff in the mornings for breakfast do seem a bit 'autocratic' and inflexible and there was something of an unnecessary fuss when I just wanted to replenish my mineral water to take with me.
Location was very good and had connections via metro and bus which were really convenient. Staff on arrival were helpful and generally pleasant. Good facilities also. Good selection at breakfast and also near to convenient supermarkets which were not too expensive.

United KingdomThere is window in the room but it can not open. The window was locked so there was a lack of air exchange in the room and it made a little uncomfortable. The electric sockets were a kind of old types with a deep hole so some of plugs may not possible to use, especially the plug types are often used in Asian countries, even the travel plugs. These old type of sockets seem very popular in the old buildings and hotels in the EU because we met this problem in Frankfurt too. The toilet has not a drainage place so after bathing, the floor was flood. The light in the room was dark, some lights were damaged.
Location is super great. It is just next to the metro, line 3. Just a few walks to the metro gate. There is a food court in a next building. An Auchan supermarket and department store are there too. The surround area also has many restaurants, good food.

United KingdomMy room was sharing a wall with a technical cupboard/lift shaft or similar so there were at times loud clanking noises which thankfully stopped at night. A sign in the room encouraged leaving towels in sink if you wanted them changed but otherwise to leave them hanging up if you were happy to use them more than once. For ecological reasons I was very happy to do that but the towels were changed every time regardless.
The room has all you need. The location of the hotel is brilliant as it is right opposite the stop of the metro and with easy access to a bus taking me straight to CDG airport. My room was clean and neither too hot or cold.

FranceRoom bit small, facilities could be updated. Parking (only 10 euros per day) is a bit far (about 100m walk) and very complicated in another nearby parking building and very difficult to find despite good efforts and signs of the Hotel in the parking building. If you need to park your car, you should read the parking instruction of the hotel on Booking site very carefully beforehand with the help of google street view. In fact I did my homework beforehand and did find the parking without too much difficulty. However, I was still lost to retrieve my car in the 2nd day.
Buffet breakfast although verities should be improved. Location is excellent. Line 3 metro is just 20m away, very convenient to go anywhere in Paris. In the same big building, there are also Auchan and other small shops and restaurants and a MacDonald. Very convenient for fast meals and shopping.

BelgiumHaving NO access to a Wi-Fi network in the room these days is not something I can live with - I was on duty travel, where I had to be connected. This is the only disadvantage I have experienced.
The location is GREAT - just outside the metro station. It was easy and fast to get to the city center or for sightseeing. The room was cozy and super quiet. I was happy of the room comfort.

BrazilIt was very difficult to communicate with the staff and, like all the places we went in Paris, they didn’t seem very eager to help, but this wasn’t a big problem. Also the location is a bit creepy in the night as there are some weird people hanging around
The hotel is in a very good location, the rooms are good and everything is comfy for the price, it’s a great value vs benefit

The room was very clean and everyday cleaning service was great! Every time I came back room was cleaned up like on check-in. Price / value ratio is very good comparing to Paris average. Location is not bad - 15-20 min from Paris center, but hotel litelarly stands on Metro station :) Staff was very helpful, room was not big, but had wardrobe where you can put all your staff. Close to hotel there is McDonald, Auchan, nice asian restaurant.
