The room was small for 2 travellers with luggage - we better check size better next time!

The location was good and close to all attractions inside the old city. The host was very helpful with suggestions for meals and sites.

Great location Staff very helpful. There isn’t a store room for bikes but the receptionist moved our bikes into the reception overnight for safe keeping and to charge the electric bike. Only room for a couple of bikes any others will have to be stored outside Good quality breakfast

No kettle or fridge in the room means I would not book again. There was no hot water! Could not shower, water was freezing cold.

Very pretty little hotel in a good location. Slept well despite a bit of early morning street noise and neighboring room (walls are very thin). Lobby area is cute with apples and caramels complimentary. Owner was helpful.

We didn’t like the tiny lift (due to constraints of the building) which stopped at the 3rd floor, then we had a steep staircase to the 4th floor. First impression was a chipped Formica door to enter the bedroom. The family room was an attic room with an unattractive view of the roof parapet wall, ducting vents, seagulls and the very top of the cathedral spire. The window frame was in serious need of repainting and the glass was dirty. The room was quite small, cramped and very tired. Hot water for the tiny shower cubicle took about 5 minutes to finally come through and the glass shelf was positioned perfectly to catch yourself on when showering. The bathroom was very cramped. NO TEA OR COFFEE MAKING FACILITIES IN THE ROOM. The room we were given is of a significantly poorer standard than the internal common areas and pretty exterior of the hotel. Overall the room we were given was very disappointing and we felt it was very poor value for money.

It was just a little loud on the square because all sound echoed. Perhaps a room on the ally would be more quiet. The view was quite nice on the square though.

Very helpful man at front desk, gave me lots of restaurant recommendations. Easy to access. Comfortable beds, Small but serviceable room. Smart layout with available outlets, mirrors outside the shower room, etc.

The street is noisy, the windows cut out a lot of noise when closed but the room was very hot if the window was closed. No kettle, coffee or tea in room or common area apart from during breakfast.

Lovely hotel, Christophe the manager was very helpful with advice about the town and any questions. Room was clean, breakfast was extensive and fresh.

In general, the bedroom and hallways are in need of an upgrade - paint, carpet, etc. - to correspond to the nice reception area. The photographs of the bedroom are a bit misleading. The separate WC and shower is fine but both are very small.

The location is excellent, along with the staff. The room was warm and the bed was very comfortable.

nothing really - everything was perfectly adequate

This little hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the old town with easy parking nearby. The host was hugely informative about where to eat in the evening. The room was simple, small but comfortable and clean with bottled water provided. Just a simple hotel offering what you need for an overnight stay. Breakfast was served to your table so no need for running around looking for buffet items. Overall would recommend and would use again.

The only negative is that we found the beds and pillows somewhat uncomfortable. It made sleeping difficult for us.

The staff at the hotel are brilliant. Very welcoming and helpful. The hotel let me check in a little early and to drop off my luggage. He provided me with helpful suggestions on restaurants and bars and was very kind to our child. The location is great, right in the centre of the town by the cathedral. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room quite small but the bed was very comfy.

Within the walls of St malo so ideal for getting out and about. Breakfast was lovely. Concierge very helpful pointing out places to eat. We were only there one night but would recommend.

I wasn't able to book a taxi as they were all booked up to the train station although the front desk manager tried for me. Also, since I arrived after 9pm, I was directed around the back to a night entrance so wasn't able to talk to anyone upon arrival about my need for a taxi. However, that's a very minor quibble. I did not eat breakfast as there was a great bakery near by.

Room was very compact but cosy. If you are a larger than average person in height or width space around the bed and in the bathroom was tight.
