The location is excellent. The Cottage is very quiet and looks out to the Seine. It is an easy walk to the centre of Honfleur. The host was delightful and attentive. The house and garden are beautiful. The breakfast was outstanding.

It was in a beautiful setting, but if being picky, the pool was smaller than expected - more like a plunge pool.

Nothing not to like, everything was superb! If there was anything not to like about New Cottage it was that we didn't stay longer.

What a place! Fabulous location just a short walk from the utterly charming town of Honfleur, with a secure car park which is an essential for us, also to park in the town itself would be a nightmare (tiny medieval streets)! Our host Eric, very ably assisted by his wife and I think his daughter, did absolutely everything they could to make our stay as fabulous as it could be. The accommodation was outstanding, super comfortable bed and pillows, very important, and quality finishes throughout. The breakfasts were to die for and the general ambiance of the place was just lovely. We will definitely return, possibly with a group of friends to take over the whole place, as they have heard such glowing reviews from us, that they all want to go now!

Honfleur sits on the edge of a large river. Across from the river is a large refinery with a furnace that burns with a very high flame. The flame can be a little bright at night, and it also emits a rumbling sound that was a little distracting at night. I don't think there is any way to avoid this anywhere you're staying in Honfleur.

The owners, Agnès and Patrice, were so kind and thoughtful and very welcoming! On top of an amazing place to stay, they were an unexpected and fun bonus! The location was perfect - walking distance from the town center but very easy to access by car.

Beautiful, cosy and scenic cottage. Breakfast was so delicious and fresh. Hosts were extremely warm and helpful. They provided all the support needed including recommending nice resturants and taxi companies and dry cleaning our clothes. Can I just say that the breakfast was amazing. The property is excellently located (walking distance) to Honfluer City Centre and the Harbour. You can also do day trips to Deauville, Etreate etc. I highly recommend. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful time.

The room was tiny with no space for a chair or table, but then we expected that -- we booked the cheapest in the place. It still had a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Otherwise (and I'm reaching here) the breakfast coffeee was a bit over-fancy, as if someone had just bought a new do-everything espresso maker and wanted to show it off. (The coffee itself was fine, just could've been presented more simply.)

Brilliant hosts -- friendly and approachable. Interesting conversationalists, too. High-quality decor and furnishings, comfortable and mixing old and new deftly. Comfy sofas, and it's always a pleasure to find a (small) honesty bar. Lovely gardens -- not too fussy, roses and apple trees -- with a brilliant pool (basically a large spa with a counter-current gismo to swim against). Excellent, generous breakfasts with homemade jams, local honey and apple juice, and fresh airy croissants. High quality finishes throughout, eg in the bathrooms; no obvious signs of skimping anywhere. This place is a real gem, and Agnès and Patrice (who don't live in -- they have a smaller place next to the main building) are a pleasure to know

Everything was exceptionally good.

Breakfast was exceptional with fresh ingredients and great choices. The location of New Cottage was excellent with a short walk to Honfleur centre for access to all facilities. As the site of New Cottage had secure parking it was safe for my car there throughout our stay. Our room was a Suite so was of a very good size with a large bathroom including a super shower cubicle with instant hot water when needed. The room had dual aspect windows giving good views of the Sea and Garden.Also very quiet location so comfortable for relaxing and chilling out. We would especially wish to thank the wonderful hosts who own and manage New Cottage. The welcome on arrival was perfect and service throughout our stay.

We loved everything about this house and the owners. The house and accommodation was stunning, the location beautiful and the owners and hosts, Patrice and Agnes were truly delightful and could not have made us more welcome. Breakfast every day was a feast of home made delights, including yoghurt and jams. We truly did not want to leave.

Agnes and Patrice were fantastic hosts, recommending restaurants, giving directions, and really ensuring our stay was lovely. The pool was a treat, and having the use of the dining seating area at all times made our stay very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay as the New Cottage location was a 10 minute walk from the centre of Honfleur and a 5 minute walk from the beach.

The room was a bit tiny but it was mentioned in the description so no problem for us and no surprise.

Comfortable beds. Amazing fresh breakfast served at your table by the hosts. Nice views and walking distance from Honfleur. We were welcomed with a nice drink on the terrace. We got a recommendation for a high quality restaurant and had an amazing dinner there.
