Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LithuaniaThe code provided to unlock the door wasn't working. Although it was quickly solved by the host. Thanks. Wifi not the best. Even youtube on tv couldn't fully load videos. And you can hear everything whats happening in a korridor. As we had neighbours wiith kids, and they liked to start chating loudly while reaching their appartament.
Location quite good. Near metro, from which you can reach any point for egz, city center approx about an hour from place. Everything new. Tidy. Grocery store near.

LithuaniaThe apartment is pretty much small, they state it is suitable for 3 people, however it was small for two, I don't imagine how 3 would be. If you are just traveling and need a place to sleep it's okay, but nothing more. The shower was leaking and the microwave sometimes was sparkling, so I had a fear that it may break.
The location of the apartment was good, there was a microwave and the bed was comfortable.

FinlandThe apartment was quite small, not good for bigger luggage. Not really soundproof, probably not suitable for light sleepers. Bathroom was leaking and had some mold. Temperature was hard to control.
Location is good if youre going to a concert. Grocery shops are close, restaurants close, metro close. Kitchen was clean, good utensils, sheets for everyone. Stayed for 2 nights, 3 persons.

SerbiaWhat we didn't like is that the four of as stayed there for 7 days, and landowners didn't felt the need to clean our room or at least change the towels and rugs. After 5 days, I asked about the cleaning and towels, and they said cleaning was extra charge - nut for the towels they can make an exception. I understand that this is a low cost hotel, but it's highly unhealthy not to clean the room for such a long time.
Location was really beautiful, even though we weren't in the popular arrondissement. It was interesting because we spent time with local people, watched a lot of different cultures and enjoyed coffee in a local too cute restaurant 'Parisan Cafe'. The apartment was just like in the pictures; small, cute, modern and with everything you need.

GermanyI thought it was gonna be a big place as we booked for four of us but it was small but it really worked so we didn’t mind that. The location was tricky as the flix bus stop was complex and its quite far from Eiffel tower.
It was really nice. Compact but everything was available. Nice place to be honest.

United StatesWe knew it going in, but the place was SMALL for 3 adults. With beds pulled out and luggage brought in, there was barely room to walk around. This wasn’t an huge issue since we were only in the room to sleep, not relax. Also, a small thing, but since it’s not a touristy area, fewer people spoke English, which made getting breakfast a little trickier.
Location was great, in the “Parisian’s Paris”, so very cheap and delicious food, better representation of the local culture, not touristy. Easy access to the metro stations to all of the points of interest. The room was clean, all utilities worked well, and it served its purpose as a place to sleep.

ArmeniaSuper small rooms, the hosts refused speaking English and when I received their texts and asked to provide the information in English so we can avoid miscommunication, they told me to use an online translator. The room photo I saw when booking didn't match the room we were provided. Also, the walls were quite thin and every conversation or movement in the nearest rooms or corridors was heard in the room.
They room had all the necessary facilities, and was pretty close to the metro. I have to disagree with all the comments saying 19th arr. is unsafe. It was very quiet, clean and safe neighborhood.
