Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

KazakhstanThe room is tiny. I could barely fit in it alone. They gave me soap, shampoos and 2 rolls of toilet paper and even though I had 2 separate bookings for the same property in 2 different date ranges, they refused to give me additional toilet paper. Which is funny cause I paid for 2 cleanings: the day I leave my apartment and the second time I leave the apartment, cause I had an extension of my stay.
The girl that worked on Monday 15th and Monday 22nd of July was very helpful. She opened the door for me, even though I arrived 30 minutes earlier and helped me with my super heavy luggage. She was also super helpful when we tried to understand how we can extend my stay in the same room as I had an addiotional booking made for +1 more night. The apartment is cute and well designed. It's just by the metro station and there are several cafes and supermarket nearby.

And you can hear everything whats happening in a korridor. As we had neighbours wiith kids, and they liked to start chating loudly while reaching their appartament.
Location quite good. Near metro, from which you can reach any point for egz, city center approx about an hour from place. Everything new. Tidy. Grocery store near.

LithuaniaThe apartment is pretty much small, they state it is suitable for 3 people, however it was small for two, I don't imagine how 3 would be. If you are just traveling and need a place to sleep it's okay, but nothing more. The shower was leaking and the microwave sometimes was sparkling, so I had a fear that it may break.
The location of the apartment was good, there was a microwave and the bed was comfortable.

FinlandThe apartment was quite small, not good for bigger luggage. Not really soundproof, probably not suitable for light sleepers. Bathroom was leaking and had some mold. Temperature was hard to control.
Location is good if youre going to a concert. Grocery shops are close, restaurants close, metro close. Kitchen was clean, good utensils, sheets for everyone. Stayed for 2 nights, 3 persons.

SerbiaWhat we didn't like is that the four of as stayed there for 7 days, and landowners didn't felt the need to clean our room or at least change the towels and rugs. After 5 days, I asked about the cleaning and towels, and they said cleaning was extra charge - nut for the towels they can make an exception. I understand that this is a low cost hotel, but it's highly unhealthy not to clean the room for such a long time.
Location was really beautiful, even though we weren't in the popular arrondissement. It was interesting because we spent time with local people, watched a lot of different cultures and enjoyed coffee in a local too cute restaurant 'Parisan Cafe'. The apartment was just like in the pictures; small, cute, modern and with everything you need.

United StatesThe main door was not very secure as the door shook with the slightest wind and it seemed to have been broken before. In the rooms there was mold in the corners where you lay your head and a smell of stale air. The room doors did not shut and there was a window between the two rooms with a curtain to block the view so there was very little privacy.
The nice thing about the property is the parking near the location. Most garages were 5-10 minute walks.
