Unless I’m mistaken, the pillows (inside fresh pillowcases) were smelling like the previous users’ body odor. Not an awful sweat smell but it’s a little off putting to feel like someone slept in your bed. Also too bad that the sauna wasn’t working.

Sauna area in basement level not available/broken during my stay. No communal/dining area - breakfast only available with room service and at significant cost.

We were charged 150 euros for a damage deposit, but only a day before check-out we were informed that they would also deduct cleaning fees from that money. I would have liked to know that the initial payment did not include cleaning and that we had to clean ourselves.

The hotel and the room were clean and the bed was mostly comfy.

Reception was closed upon arrival (7PM) - had to ring the emergency number to check-in. Walls very thin, could hear the TV from the next room as if it was being used in my room!

City taxes were raised and there was no information about that in booking.com and also communication from hotel, as there were several messages, none mentioned that instead of 9 eur i will need to pay more than 30

For first-time visitors to Paris who want to be close to the action, you'll likely need to take a taxi every day to reach the heart of the city (approx: 12 - 16 Euros each time to go to the Champs Elysees area), this is a very quiet and boring area, many offices around. Even the hotel looks like an office from the outside. So for the savings you are spending on transport but then you can have extra shopping money, I suppose. During my stay, there was construction outside my window on the main street, though this was no fault of the hotel. Be aware that you must request robes, slippers, and extra toilet paper, as they aren't provided automatically. the AC was a bit difficult to understand and perhaps there was a timer, need to ask reception about that otherwise depends on when you visit you could be waking up in a pool of sweat. Also, the hotel doesn't offer daily room cleaning unless you're staying for an extended period, which was fine for me since I did a lot of shopping and preferred not to have anyone in my room. One thing to note is the absence of a fridge or mini-bar, so don't expect in-room water. Staff are there in the morning but are not there late evening.

If you carefully follow the self-check-in instructions, you'll have no trouble if you arrive after the front desk staff have left. This location is ideal for those who have been to Paris before and prefer to stay away from the hustle and bustle and has a Lidl just steps away for snacks and drinks. In my case, my colleague chose this location, and I was certainly pleased with the price. There are also a few nice restaurants nearby. The cleaning staff were exceptionally friendly. It's a very quiet area, which is great for a good night's sleep.

Travel is of at least 1h to reach the center of the city with the public transportation system, which is often full and thus it is complicated to predict time for arrival.

The facilities are very well equipped and there is a sauna and gym. Also, the building is not far away from the train station in Clichy-Levallois, which has good connection with Gare St. Lazaire and the Paris metro system.

The fact that you don't clean the room until one checks out. I asked for something and the lady at the reception promised to deliver it but she didn't.

Arrived at 11pm and code did not work for the lockbox for the keys. I had to ring hoping someone would answer, the lady came out was very nice but my daughter was quite upset at this stage. Very comfortable and clean but further out with having to catch 2 plus trains or buses to get to the centre. Good value for money though.

Every evening, there was a cold draught coming from the air con/heater for a while, no matter what the temperature was set on. Lasted maybe an hour. If there are two people in the room, you still have to fill out two forms for breakfast even if you have the same things.

Easy to get to, near a station and buses very close by. Friendly staff, very helpful. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Nice big bathroom even with a towel dryer. Breakfast served to the room was also good, even if a little complicated to order. The exterior wasn't much to look at but the inside is much better. There's also a little convenience store very near, on the road to the station.

There were no possibilities to get something to drink or little snacks within the hotel. A small fridge with e.g. some bottles of water/lemonade or at least two cups to fill in some water out of the water tap would have been nice.

Kitchenette area of the apart^hotel was locked so we were unable to use those facilities.

Location very easy to reach from the nearest train station. Rooms were good size with a queen size bed and large ensuite bathroom. Staff were very helpful. We got a message to say check in hours which were different to signage in the hotel itself but they gave details on how to check in if there was no staff available.

It is located quite far from the city center and the points of interest. No cleaning was done or towels changed for 4 days. Access to the refrigerator costs 2 euros and we were forced to take our trash out ourselves to a hotel that claims to be 4 stars

The hotel is located in a quiet area. The interior is clean and the staff is friendly. In the area there are terraces and neighborhood shops, Lidl and Carrefour Market with affordable prices.
