Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI asked for a taxi to be booked for the next morning. Young lady at reception said she would do it. I asked later if she managed to do it and she said it was all good. The thing is I didn't really believe her. I asked again in the morning when she wasn't on and the lady at reception had no record of it and booked one then. Really not happy about this . Why tell me it's booked? Breakfast was just ok.

SwitzerlandHotel has a nice reception and overall good bed for sleeping. I wished the interior and details were a bit more curated considering the price. Furniture also needs a bit of refresh. For the current value, I found it a bit overpriced.
Hotel with a good location and free transportation to Basel Airport. It was convenient and they helped us at the reception. Overall good stay for an early flight from Basel.

GermanyThe logistics of transfer of guests from the airport to the hotel is crazy. Guests don't know the number of the car and can not recognise the exact car. The driver has to ask all the people which are near the parking place.
The breakfast is more expensive than it is. The location is good for travelers who use the airport.

Very handy location if you need to take an early flight from BSL airport. It is around 10 min away from the St Louis train station. The area is pretty quiet at night. Breakfast was also nice.

I arrived at 0100 was met by the night receptionist. Checking in went very smoothly. Free Parking was good. Room was warm clean with a great shower. Close to the motorway only 2/3 minuets drive. Perfect for a one night stopover as l was traveling through Europe. Also good value for the price. Will recommend for couples and single travellers.
