Not much we didn’t like.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a charming property just outside of Dieppe, France, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. This quaint little haven exuded beauty and tranquility in every aspect. The property itself was a hidden gem, nestled in the serene countryside, providing a peaceful escape from the bustling town of Dieppe. Surrounded by lush greenery and picturesque landscapes, it offered a serene atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The facilities at the property were nothing short of amazing. From the cozy and well-appointed rooms to the beautifully landscaped gardens, every detail was carefully thought out to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The attention to detail was evident, making it a perfect retreat for anyone seeking relaxation and a touch of luxury. What truly set this property apart, though, was the exceptional staff and the warm-hearted owner who was present during my stay. Their dedication to making guests feel welcome and cared for was truly remarkable. They went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met, making the stay even more memorable. In summary, my two-day stay at this lovely property just outside of Dieppe, France, was an absolute delight. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and peaceful retreat. If you're looking for a serene and charming getaway in the French countryside, I highly recommend this hidden gem. There was nothing not to like.

We stayed in apartment 8. It was perfect. Very compact kitchen with 2 ring induction hob and microwave combi oven. Very well equipped. Living room was nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable and bedroom was roomy. Large wardrobe to put your clothes into. Great location for accessing Dieppe. Only slight issue was a party which was held one night in the apartment above ours until 3am. However as soon as we told the owner she asked them to leave. Sadly they have since left her a very poor review which she does not deserve.

The appartment was spacious and tastefully furnished. The owner is really pleasant and was very helpful, She gave us lots of tips about places to visit in the area. The sea is only a five minute drive away and the surrounding countryside is beautiful and great for walking. At Pourville sur mer there are four good palces to eat.

The place is ideal: You are in the middle of the countryside and only a few minutes drive from Dieppe, which is definitely worth a visit. Ouir host was very helpful and gave us useful tips on things to do. Etretat and Rouen are both within easy driving distance.

The location is remote and very difficult to find and it is 3 kms from any shop or restaurant. The drive in entrance is situated on a dangerous sharp bend on a busy D road and is hidden as you drive towards it and very frightening to exit being on a sharp corner with dense woodland and hedges blocking any view of oncoming traffic down to 5-10 metres. Though not explicitly stated in the advert there were multiple couples and families staying on the two property site involving up to 7 cars parked overnight. The stairs up to the first floor apartment were filthy and coated in heavy dust and inside the sink and kitchen surfaces had remnants of old food (notably decaying bread crumbs) and a sticky unwashed surface - it took me 45 minutes to clean the kitchen using Detol anti-viral antiseptic wipes which we had having camped for some weeks in south west France (later the host asked for 25 euros to clean the place when we had already cleaned it with our own products from camping - there were no brushes or cleaning products evident in the apartment). Finally the hot water went cold at 9.30am on day 2 meaning no shower or shave for myself - when it failed to come on by 4pm I contacted Booking.com who acted fast and we later learnt an electrical fault was the cause - hot water returned at 8pm that evening but no apology was given or financial compensation offered. I forgot to say that we could not get the TV to operate and needed to use our smart phones and the BBC Sounds App to access news and information.

The general space of the 3.5 room apartment (kitchen was a minute galley off the living room). There was nothing more to add on the plus side as explained below.
