Parking is tricky in Bonifacio.

The host was unhelpful and did not give any recommendations or advice. It would have been nice to know which I learned after exploring more that cars can drive to a circular area that is a few blocks away. Unfortunately I got off the ferry and no one wanted to help with a taxi. Every number I called said they were to busy. Then check in was supposed to be at 3 and she moved it to 4:30. There is a massive amount of hills and stairs. I recommend packing light (no wheeling bags) and comfortable walking shoes.

The bed was the most comfortable bed of my entire trip! The view was absolutely incredible and gorgeous over looking the water! Cutely decorated. Nice to have air conditioning and hot water. Quiet and peaceful area. The view felt magical! Thankful she had soaps in the shower. After finally getting settled in accepting the stairs and hiking it is a lovely place!

The location was published as 150 metres to the beach, which was not correct. Beach was closed and had been for some time. Access to beaches was via boat or taxi. We also were promised a check in of 3pm but didn’t get in until 4:30pm which was disappointing

Everything! Cozy little studio with the most stunning view. Bed and linen super comfy. Warm decoration. Lots of welcoming gifts. Prosecco, fruits, as much coffee as you can possibly need! I absolutely recommend this flat.

Brand new flat, furnished with great taste. The highlight is the view you get over the white cliffs of Bonifacio as well as over Sardinia. The balcony is a fantastic place where to relax in the evening after a hot summer day, taking in the cool sea breeze.

There is no parking near the room, you will need to walk from the public parking lot which is over 10 minutes away (down the hill to the apartment & back up the hill from the apartment) and then another few minutes up cobblestone pedestrian streets with your luggage (bumpy with a rolling suitcase). The bathroom and kitchen are tiny, 2 people cannot stand together in either space. The balcony is very nice with an exquisite view, but you need to climb up a steep, narrow staircase and then step up, over a 2' ledge through the skylight to get to it. Not for anyone with mobility issues if they want to sit on the balcony. We were traveling with a lot of food from our previous airbnb, and we couldn't carry it and our carry-on bags to the room in 1 trip, and we had to meet the property manager only after her work shift at a restaurant nearby. She was lovely and informative, but we basically had to park & wait until she was available (no early check-in's), and then run back & forth to the car (15 mins walk each way) to get all our things unloaded. When leaving, we had to pack up everything and bring it to a corner of the pedestrian road. One of us had to wait at the corner, while the other walked 10 minutes up the hill to get the car, and then do a super fast load up of the car when holding up all the traffic. Not a good vacation rental if you want a calm easy check-in/check-out!

The location is really great, prime spot in the old town! with a beautiful view, IF you don't have a lot of luggage, don't mind the walk from the parking lot, and don't mind tight quarters. The room is clean & nicely decorated, and has what you will need in the kitchen. The bed and bedding was very comfortable, and there was ample room to unpack.

It was close to impossible to have communication with the host. We tried to make contact many days prior to arrival. (They only speak french, so we had people at our hotel in Sardinia who were ready to translated for us), but the host rarely answered the phone, and it could take a day or two to get a response at booking.com-messages/sms. The day before we managed to agree upon a check in time. The host came one hour late for this. The host did not meet us for check out at the agreed time, as she had sent a message in booking.com the night before at 23.30 asking us to deliver the keys at a restaurant instead of meeting us at the apartment. She later claimed we had agreed to this, although she never got an answer, since we had poor internet and did not get a notification, so we had not seen this message. She had not sent any SMS, message in Booking.com or called to get a confirmation after not receiving an answer. As we had to catch the ferry back to Sardinia (they were informed about this), and did not manage to get in contact with the host until 20 minutes after the agreed time, we ended up locking the key and parking card in the apartment as we fortunately knew the host had a double key. The experience was stressfull, and though the room was beautiful, the organization came across as unprofessional and communication was difficult. I imagine the situation would have been easier if we spoke french, but it does not change the fact that the host does not reply when you try to make contact.

Beautiful room, looks exactly like the pictures. Great location in the center of the old town, close to shops and restaurants. Terrace with a beautiful view over the ocean. Nice little kitchen and a soft bed.
