We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomAccommodation was excellent with great facilities for our 6 night stay. The location is brilliant and we had a great few days in Amboise and could travel further afield easily. The hotel is nearby many walkable local sites, shops and restaurants. The hosts were excellent and the breakfast was a great way to start the day with a relaxing pool to relax in later on. We had a fantastic holiday staying here. I'd highly recommend it as a base to explore Loire.

Rustic and upmarket at the same time. Very Comfortable King Size bed ( 1.80 m x 200) Unique setting in the park in the Manoir Grounds Nice pool sun-beds and parasols. Great position in the town just 19mins walk to the restaurants , bars and everything the Amboise town has offer . Good secure on site parking.

The hotel has a tiny entrance off the road but, once inside, it opens out to reveal a lovely, slightly quirkly main hotel and grounds. As well as the main building, they have cleverly transformed old stables into rooms and an event space and the grounds are lovely, as is the pool area. All very quiet and civilised. We stayed for 3 nights in one of the larger stable rooms so we had a nice, comfortable double bedroom, a lounge with a dining table and a small kitchenette - enough to easily cook for 2, or even 4 people if you had guests. Everything is clean, tidy, well presented and homely. The owners are lovely and very welcoming - We felt at ease there straight away. Amboise is beautiful and you are 3 minutes walk from the base of the chateau. A great place to stay.
