Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe whole hotel and the rooms are super stylish, designed with a really great taste. The hotel is located in a nice quiet area with all main attractions available by a short walk. The stuff are super polite and welcoming.

United KingdomAs a business traveler the lack of a wardrobe/hanging space for a shirt and the lack of desk were unfortunate. It looks like there is space for both in the room I stayed in (Marcel) with some clever planning, so I would advise you put these two things in.
Room was clean, comfortable and nicely designed. Location was excellent and staff very helpful in answering my call and letting me in early.

United KingdomEverything was perfect and there wasn't anything to complain about during our short stay.
Hotel Maison Soleil had beautifully designed rooms and they were very generous in size. There was no reception and access was via remote code which suited us perfectly as it was incredibly good value for money. All communication was via a guest app which was incredibly efficient and helpful. I couldn't recommend this place enough and will definitely return in the future. Thank you.

Our ground floor room had amazingly high ceilings and a great sunny patio area. High quality bed linen and bathroom items. Stylish throughout, and a kettle. We stayed in the second week of the hotel opening and would encourage you to stay too!

United KingdomThere was a code that was for the front door and the room which seemed dodgy. Also there was no reception and the front door was very noisy so that you could hear everything in the hallway. Also the outside furniture was always wet because they sprayed it with a hose whilst watering the plants. WiFi did not work all the time, was pretty useless to be honest. Would not reccomend if you need/want wifi that works all the time.

SpainThere were two large bicycles blocking the corridor when entering. The terrace wasn't clean (floor covered in dirt, bird poo, cushions covered in dust), one of the lightbulbs wasn't working in the room next to the bed, there were coffee pods but no coffee machine. It all seemed a bit rushed and is it's just too expensive for what you're getting.
