We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThe hotel restaurant wasnt open on a saturday night which was disappointing. A restaurant nearby and some takeaway food a little further away. The town area didn't look very nice even though beside the river - sort of run down looking.
Our room was a little small but ok. Also a little dated but ok. Tea making in the room but no fridge. Reception area and restaurant looked nice. Good location beside the river. Secure with gates and fencing. Free parking.

GermanyThere was a Cycling Tour de France team (Ineos Grenadiers) in residence who behaved as if they owned the entire car park, when we'd booked with over a month's notice requiring parking for a car & trailer. The hotel manager was quick to set them straight and we got our promised park. Great work on the part of the hotel manager. Poor behaviour on the part of the Ineos Grenadier team.

PortugalThe hotel needs a little work, some little things were off like our shower's hose had no way to secure it to the wall and you were stuck holding it up.
The location was fantastic, with an easy train ride into Lyon, and some great bike rides nearby. Breakfast was solid and we had dinner once at the hotel and it was decent as well.
