We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Greecewhen we arrived at the hotel a man at the reception office in a not so polite manner claimed that booking hadnot confirmed our reservation! and there was no available room.Telling him that this was impossible I contacted Booking (HEATHER) immediately as I had the booking confirmation number and PIN and they confirmed our reservation. After some time which was not so pleasant at all (as we had no other place to stay) another woman named NADIA came saying that she was the receptionist. She offered us 2 drinks and she said she would find a room for us to stay which she did!!She also offered us FREE breakfast at the hotel for the next morning and she also PAID for the room. She was polite helpful and efficient! Thank to her the first negative experience transformed in a pleasant one as the other room and the restaurant below it were really good. We THANK NADIA for her hospitality and ability to offer solutions in a difficult situation!!!

United KingdomNo entry code was sent so it took a while and several messages for us to get in, the phone number supplied rang but wasn't answered. The person who admitted us was very brusque. Shower was a tap attachment in the bath and not up to modern expectations. Hotel walls were thin so we were kept awake by the noise from the neighbouring room. Wifi did not work in room. Definitely not a welcoming place, I recommend avoiding it.

CanadaThe rooms were dated with poor maintenance. The bathrooms were clean but with damaged fixtures and hand held shower heads and the shower screen did not prevent water from dampening the floor, counter, and toilet paper. The ´fresh’ fruit at breakfast was spoiled.
The staff were friendly and the terrace was lovely. The public areas had clearly received striking renovations.

United KingdomHotel appeared to be in hibernation as bar and restaurant were closed.The hotel lacked any atmosphere and once our room key was given to us the receptionist left the hotel and locked the front door which we had too unlock each time we came in.
