A comfortable, well-kept, well-situated hotel & restaurant with all the amenities for a good stay

As for the breakfast, I would have liked to have more protein-rich options, like bacon, scrambled eggs, or sausage. There was only cold-cut ham and swiss cheese. There was a bit of confusion when it came time to pay for breakfast...the only person who could take payments was gone for the day, and there was a language barrier with the kitchen staff on hand. I had to try to pay for that breakfast days later over the phone from the USA once I got home from my trip.

The breakfast was quite good. The pastries and toppings were excellent, and the coffee drinks were just fine. The location was very good, because all of the holy sites of Lisieux were within a decent walking distance.

Carpet in the room, not too clean. A paying public car park during the day near the hôtel, otherwise, book a parking place with the hôtel. , with a supplement.

Very nice restaurant in the hôtel,, excellent meal with local produce. Reasonable price for the room, as the hôtel is in the town centre.

The lady at the desk spoke English. She helped me order my dinner. That meant so much to me. Also, the main waiter was nice to me when I accidentally broke my wine glass (I'm still sorry). The lady who served breakfast was very happy and attentive. The staff was overall wonderful. Every time I walked through the door I got a big smile and bonjour from someone. Another significant piece of information to add is that it is in between historical parts of the city I wanted to see.

    Nothing to dislike.

Excellent location in the town centre. Good quality food served in the restaurant. Comfortable bed. Hot shower. Very good value for money for a town centre location. Lisieux is a great place to visit.

Shower dirty and leaking from hose which had rust on connectors. Floor was grubby. If we were staying longer than overnight we would have complained but sleep before ferrywas required.

Excellent restaurant and pleasant staff, both helpful and friendly.

A good standard centrally located hotel with helpful staff and excellent restaurant

Wifi worked in ground floor lobby/restaurant areas, but not in rooms. No persistent log-in: each time you had to re-connect using the wifi code and your email address, then accept Ts & Cs, so more complicated than it needed to be.

We stayed 3 nights. The rooms were comfortable enough, but showing their age in some areas, eg carpets. Toilet and shower facilities both good. Two breakfast options offered - Express and Standard. Both offered good value. The restaurant deserves particular mention: we ate there twice and both were excellent meals. Very central location on the edge of the pedestrian zone so surprisingly quiet.

    It was fine.

Breakfast good. Room ok. Reading light good at bedtime. Very central. Parking fairly close - two hours per day free, then charges but quite cheap. Pleasant interior to building. Logis de France restaurant on ground floor. Nice staff. Comfortable beds. I liked it.

I give 5 star because it is restaurant and hotel. The 5 star are for the hotel. I asked to have dinner told me that was full, but it wasn't because I saw many empty table, proposed to have dinner inside the room and bring back empty dishes and them said no.it was a waiter to decide, not very friendly not helpful. If you will be in the same situation the burger shop close to the hotel is not bad at all.

It was rather rundown, reception area smelled unpleasant, bathroom needed upgrading - in particular ceiling had mould on it. Room was very hot and no fridge or air conditioning.

Staff were helpful when I pointed out I’d booked a large double bed and we’d been given a standard.

I was disappointed with breakfast room and the breakfast. The hotel needs some attention in the bedrooms. You get what you pay for here.

The hotel was in a good location. The management were very pleasant.
