The hotel is located a short drive from Amboise. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. Plenty of parking, nicely decorated rooms, very clean and friendly staff. The ground floor rooms have private courtyards, nice for sitting and taking in the views. Good breakfast.

Breakfast was rather minimalistic... we would have liked to see some fruit, and maybe cold cuts.

This is a very well run, comfortable, quiet hotel. We loved it, slept like logs, and were an easy drive from Amboise town centre and any number of day trips in the surrounding countryside.

Good breakfast but it wasn't continental as we were told. It was bread with butter and jam and some pain au chocolat.

Beautiful surroundings. Great place for relaxing, especially if you are lucky with the weather. The host was very friendly and helpful. He recommended restaurants and places to visit.

The domain is gorgeous, completely immersed with nature. Easy to access all big attractions from there. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. The services were impeccable. Even in 4 stars hotels I did not received such services. Impressive and admirative.

The under sheet was stained with blood and to take a bath was uncomfortable because the ceiling was very low and at an angle and the room needs an upgrade.

It is set in a quiet location and it has a large park. Only a few minutes car drive from the centre of Ambroise.

No water in room or tea & coffee making facilities. Poor service no bar or anywhere in hotel to get tea or coffee. Hotel was in darkness when we arrived at 6pm and staff didn't make you feel like they wanted you inside. We had been travelling several hours to get there. When we got back from Amboise at 8.45pm. The hotel facility was completely locked up and in darkness. I would have liked to have ordered some water or a cup oo coffee so tried the phone in the room to see if I could get through to reception. The phone didn't work. Extremely disappointed with hotel facility. Lovely place and nice room but it's just lodgings. Sorry

the room we got must have been closed for a long time (but it was a very beautiful room!) because it smelled so musty that we went for an hour's walk to air it out. But I think this indicates some other problem with the ventilation. Nevertheless, I have to highlight: this is one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever been in. The colors, the size, the comfort, the taste - phenomenal.

The whole property and the people who work there - if you’de be in a magic place. Beautiful surrounding, various houses and styles, in the middle of the woods, pool, walking area, very nice breakfast and mood by the Lady who served it, zigzag garden with full of small beuties. I strongly hope that was not the last time we were there 🙂
