the shower room had been shoe-horned into the room…..it was an old ibis budget cast-off. there was lots of mosquitoes and we were bitten many times……the proprietor was not at all concerned…..on our last day we discovered that the chambermaid had a plug in and she put it into our room rather too late for our skin there were groups of people shouting and singing outside the hotel until 4o’clock in the morning…..the proprietor seemed to think this was OK behaviour

No real toiletries provided and the rooms are small - genuine two star.

The hotel has a perfect view , was very clean with rooms serviced daily. There is very good parking and it is an easy walk to a number of restaurants and cafés. The little train to the Carnac Megaliths stops right out in front.

Bedroom needed a lot of TLC , not a good start seeing the bedroom door desperately in need of a coat of paint. Poorest part of the whole experience our washing/toilet/shower facilities , the toilet, hand basin, shower all located in an area not much bigger than a cupboard !! This is an area that desperately needs addressing

Location /parking excellent. Room with balcony with sea /harbour views excellent. Food - Breakfast good with excellent choice. Evening meal - food excellent

This hotel may have been built 40 years ago and needs refurbishment to bring it into 2022! Plastic cups in bedroom. Coffee bitter,and no offer of 2nd cup

Booked multiple accommodation stays through Bookings.com in Paris and all properties were paid for upfront. for some reason this property did not with draw my funds which i was unaware of. I was traveling alone Early 40's female and caught a train from Paris to Carnac and was so excited as this was supposed to be the highlight of my trip. Staying in a beach side Room overlooking the water. When I arrived at Les Rochers late afternoon, I was met with a very rude Man on the desk. He said my room was gone and to find somewhere else. I proceeded to ask why and that I have a booking. He said he tried to call me about payment (which was a total lie) I had no calls on my phone and even showed him. He said tuff and get out. I was absolutely shocked. I said where am supposed to go its late and I'm alone. He responded with not my problem; you don't speak French so good luck. He said you didn't pay. There are 2 ways to pay, via credit card before you get here or when you arrive. I said Well I'm here, so I'll pay now. Again, he said Rooms gone get out. I was absolutely shocked and very distressed. the best part of my holiday was now ruined and I had nowhere to stay.

The staff serving lunch did not seem happy in their work.

The location was absolutely stunning . The hotel was tired in decor but the location made up for that. The owner and his wife were very welcoming and attentive. I would just say the balcony/ private terraces could benefit from an update in furniture and the dividing screens could be cleaner. Lunchtime food was excellent
