We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomAccomodation has been well used, so showing some ageing/ deterioration and could have been cleaner.
The chalet we stayed in was large, warm, with a good view over Lake Leman. Good for walking and sightseeing around Evian. Children enjoyed the indoor heated swimming pool. Good quality white sheets, very clean. Very good value for money.

United Arab EmiratesI thought this would be a nice mountain style resort but it was more like a prison. You have to collect your bedsheets and towels when you check in and put them on the bed yourself, pay extra for towels and extra for wifi as well. Very basic and very crap.

United Kingdom-they ask you €300 deposit which is not mentioned on booking.com (considering the apartment and the limited facilities provided, €300 deposit amount is not justified at all!) - they dont even put the bedding sheets , you have to do it yourself - not a good value for money, seems like they are renting you a only a roof for this money! Wouldn’t recommend - checkin time is 5pm which is quite late (reception is open only for limited time and no-one even picks phone outside those hours)
The lake view from the balcony, that was the only good thing about the property!

This is not a hotel, you have to make your bed!!! And leave the room extremely tidy; remove bed sheets, you need to buy towel (2 towel); there are no toilet paper (toilet pot was broken). They call themselves eco hotel, however you need to buy dish washer, sponge, kitchen towel, just for few days and throw away. They threaten to charge for cleaning if you don't clean. You barely find a staff around (if so, rude); pool is ok but a but depressing. Nice view.

All basic services cost extra - soap, towel, kitchen necessities, internet (bed linen is in the price) Small balcony with all the trash coming from upper balconies, blocked in with overgrown hedges.
