Wonderful breakfasts, spacious and very well equipped room, great location and exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts. Right in the heart of the neolithic caves area. Beautiful countryside and many historic medieval chateaux nearby too.

The owners of this B&B are doing an incredible job. Impeccably clean, with attention to the details and the comfort of the guests. A quiet location and beautiful garden that invite relaxation. I wish we had more days there. Wonderful breakfast!

Everything was great, smelled really lovely and was very clean. Remi (dog) is the most sweet and beautiful host that comes to great you at the door. Paul was always nice and Maliwan was really sweet and her breakfast omelettes are something special!

Pristine and oversized accomodation that hosts only a small number of guests. Location is superb if you want to avoid the over touristy areas and enjoy walks in nature, and the breakfast is generous and delicious. Highly recommend.

That we could not stay longer

What can I say? The property is just gorgeous. It took our breath away. The location is a bit remote but so beautiful and peaceful. The house is just beautiful inside and outside. It is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is huge and beautiful. The bedrooms are very big and comfortable. The hosts are friendly and helpful. It was a delight to stay with them. We want to come back

We loved this stay so much! This renovated farm house is an incredible place set on a large portion of land with views for miles. We received a warm welcome and a choice of rooms which were both spacious and very well appointed. The house has a gorgeous outdoor seating area perfect for the warm evenings, which were peaceful with just the sounds of the birds and insects. There is also the use of a large lounge, dining, and kitchen area. Breakfast was lovely, and we felt at home for the whole time we stayed (three nights).

My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer.

We liked EVERYTHING about this property. Communication with hosts was great. The breakfast was terrific. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. Bed was SO comfortable! The hosts were very helpful in assisting us with dinner reservations and other directions. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hope we can return!

Just the most beautiful place to stay . The hosts were absolutely wonderful, kind and informative . The house is outstanding, beautifully renovated and decorated. The room couldn't have been more comfortable, likewise the bed and the shower. So clean and welcoming. This accomodation sets a very high standard, hard to beat . Breakfast was also a similar standard with a good variety on offer and an omelette. Thank you for a lovely stay , I just wish we were staying longer .

Honestly, comparing this B&B with many others, every one is now contesting for second place, this B&B tops them all.

The hosts were friendly, gracious, and outgoing, the bedroom was commodious and the bed large and comfortable, and the bathroom also large, and functional as well as attractive. Form AND function co-exist well.

The single track road that has to be used to reach local restaurants might be considered a drawback to some drivers but it’s a quiet road.

A wonderful house with very friendly owners. The bedroom was very comfortable and roomy and the family sitting room / breakfast room was very welcoming. The owners were wonderful hosts. The house has been renovated to a high and tasteful standard and is in a quiet, relatively isolated position.

Off the beaten track, but well worth it to find a beautifully restored farmhouse snuggled up to the Cedar tree which gives it its name. Our hosts were welcoming, offering us tea on arrival and helping us find dinner for the evening. The room was gorgeous and well thought out, with lovely bathroom with bath, (which we were most disappointed not to have the opportunity to use!). The style was simple and chic and sympathetic to the old features of the house (rustic but modern with beams, shuttered windows etc.). There are restaurants a short drive away but be warned, if you are vegetarian you may not find anything to eat. We had to drive to Montignac for dinner, though had we realised, there is actually a vegetarian restaurant a short drive from the house! Another excuse to come back! Breakfast was delicious and offered everything we need, with a delicious cheese omelette an added surprise. Sadly the weather wasn't so good for our one-night stay otherwise we would have like to explore the grounds and make the most of our balcony. The passion and love the hosts have for their property and business is evident and was the perfect ending to our trip to the area.

The location is in a lovely picturesque setting but rather isolated for restaurant options. Restaurants can be reached within 15-20 minutes and the hosts kindly made a reservation for us on arrival.

The hosts were warm and friendly and willingly shared information about the area. The restored property was beautifully furnished and decorated. The facilities provided 5* comfort with luxurious en-suite bathroom and all amenities of the highest standard. The excellent breakfast including omelette option was served on a lovely sun drenched vine terrace.
