Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI booked this apartment for a last minute birthday trip for a friend. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped, and the decoration has it's own quirky charm. The owners were super helpful, and it was reassuring to know they were nearby. They also recommended that we visited the light show at the Cathedral which was so spectacular, we went back the next evening to see it again.

NetherlandsPlease be aware that there is an environmental zone (milieuzone) in the city centre of Reims (and also on the two biggest acces ways into the city) and you need a permit (sticker) for this or else you risk a fine. The appartment isn’t in this zone, but you will probably drive through the zone to get there. We didn’t know we needed a sticker unfortunately, so fingers crossed we will not get a fine over the mail as a souvenir ;-)
We had a lovely stay for four nights. The owners are very friendly and helpfull and the apartment is clean and has everything you need. You can park in front of the accomodation (€8,- per day) or in the neighbourhood (some streets are a free parking zone). There is a nice bakery (boulangerie) just around the corner and the city centre is within a 10 minute walk.

Great accommodation with kitchen close to Reims Central Station. Wonderful hostess Olivia who gave us a choice of two rooms. It is about 2 km to the center. There are also public transport stops nearby. Thank you very much for the wonderful accommodation.

United KingdomOnly one thing - Although the bed was really comfortable, I found the single rectangular hard foam pillow very uncomfortable.
We just had one night to break a long drive. Got there mid-evening and didn't want to go out for a meal, it was great to be able to just stay in. A great place to stay, warm and clean, lovely quirky apartment with interesting furnishings! We had booked the apartment for two people, but Vincent put us in the large 3 bedroom apartment which was a real treat - thank you! Being an old building with wooden floors we imagine it could get quite noisy but as we were the only ones in that part of the building that night, we can't actually comment on that. We really enjoyed our stay.

United KingdomGreat fun place to stay for seeing Reims. We are a family of 5 but this larger apartment with 3 bedrooms would work for a group as well. It's nicely styled for the capital of Champagne and is a quick walk into the town centre. Good kitchen and family run, really enjoyed our stay!
