Nothing. This exceeded my expectations. This bed and breakfast was so charming.

This is such a charming bed and breakfast. The couple running the establishment were so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend any family or group to stay at this establishment. The breakfast was also excellent. The home made lemon loaf was delicious. They also had home made yogurt which was the best me and my party had the entire trip in France. This is such a lovely home and we also enjoyed the outdoor area in the evening.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Immaculate property in a peaceful location, well placed to walk into Amboise. Great continental breakfast with lots of choice plus the jams, yoghurt and cake were all homemade by the hosts. Our rooms were spotlessly clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden was a lovely place to sit and chill in the evening with the glass of wine. We would definitely stay here again if we are visiting Amboise.

Everything about this stay was amazing! We particularly loved the breakfasts with homemade preserves and the lovely garden to sit and relax with a cup of tea after a day out exploring.

All was very very fine! Breakfast changed every day, homemade joghurts and cakes, fresh fruit. Bed was very comfortable. View was fantastic. Only because of rain we could not much sit outside on the nice terrasse.

This was a great find. We had a large bedroom and separate sitting area, which were very comfortable. The accommodation is in a quiet location within easy walk of everything in Amboise, which turned out to be a great place to spend a day off from cycling. Catherine and Bruno are excellent hosts and provided a really good breakfast. They have a secure place to keep bicycles overnight.

There was not one thing we did not like.

We loved our stay. Our hosts, Catherine and Bruno, were very attentive, spoke English (our French is very basic), very helpful with restaurant suggestions as well as castle selection (since we had limited time yet so much to see). The property is walking distance to the center of town as well as Amboise Castle. Breakfast was included as well as home made cakes made by Catherine. I got her recipe for her Lemon Cake. The apartment was very spacious for myself, my husband and our son. I will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in Amboise or close to many of the castles and not necessarily looking to be in the big town of Tours.

Delicious French breakfast with bread, croissants, yoghurt, fruits and homemade jam and pastries. Katherine baked lemon cake was excellent! The breakfast is served in the stunning dining room accompanied by light music. The hotel is located in the city, 5-minutes walk from the main attractions. The hotel has a garden with garden furniture where you can relax comfortably in good weather. Upon the arrival we were offered a juice. The room was really clean, cozy and comfortable. Katherine and Bruno are fantastic hosts, very hospitable and interesting. They recommended us a restaurant 10 minutes away by car, which we were very pleased with: real French cuisine, excellent price/quality. We recommend this hotel to everyone and we will be happy to return. Katherine and Bruno, thanks a lot!

Everything was perfect

Everything was perfect, the room big and clean, the bed very comfortable, the host was sooo nice, the yard in front of the room was amazing, the breakfast delicious. You can park your car right there in their garage which is very convenient. We were so pleased with their services, we definitely recommend this place ❤️

Lovely hosts, new, clean , modern “apartment”. Parking right outside the room & a lovely garden area with table & chairs which must be wonderful to use in the summer. Not far from the centre of Amboise- 15 min walk approx , so convenient for the chateau & restaurants . Great place to stay.

Bruno and Catherine are fantastic hosts. Their place is kept extremely clean and tastefully furnished. Always checking with us if we need dinner reservation, giving us suggestion where to go .breakfast was great too as Catherine baked lemon cake n muffins in addition to croissant, granola, yoghurt and French loaf.

What a hidden gem of a place to stay. Easy walking distance into the historic area of the city, yet just enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Great room with perfect amenities, and breakfast was delicious too. Wonderful hosts who you could tell were very proud of the residence.

The walk to the location from the center of town was a little long.

Bruno and Catherine were wonderful hosts! They went the extra mile in picking us up from the train station and dropping us off there at the end of our stay. The suite was spacious, modern, and had great amenities. The breakfast felt like authentic French food, and we enjoyed the homemade baked goods. The view from the terrace was beautiful. It was perfect to finish our trip. Definitely recommend it!

A little small for two people and if not for the hospitality of the hosts a taxi to the train station would be very difficult.

Not a single thing... would AC be nice at 95 degrees, yes.... no whining here, not their fault, it'should not be so hot in September.

Nothing to not like.

Bruno and Catherine were the most gracious hosts we have ever met. Bruno even took the train station at 5 AM. I wish all my stays were like this. The room was spacious newly updated and the french breakfast were delicious. Very quiet secure and private. I enjoyed the front patio with the chairs and tables

Very lovely, quiet, clean and spacious bed-and-breakfast. Our hosts were lovely, prepared beautiful home made breakfast, and helped us make reservations and recommend good restaurants and sites to see around. Very good location - a short walk to Clos Luce, the Chateau, the old city; but sufficiently out of the buzz to allow a good night rest.
