Cosy house, quiet, good pool complex

The location is slightly remote from the town centre, but we enjoyed the 20 min walk. The little house can host 4 people and had been equipped with all things needed for cooking. some cleaning products could come in handy sinceis a self-catering accommodation. loved the pool and the saunas . water was warm enough, and the jacuzzi features pleased the kids extremely . Cancale is a very nice place glad it is not too popular .

The kitchen was small and not very practical as you had to buy even washing up sponge and liquid and there wasn't even a tea towel to dry hands. The upstairs toilet was the smallest toilet I've ever used - I couldn't pull up my trousers without opening the door! The upstairs bathroom didn't have a shower curtain so showering got the whole room wet

It was the only option we could find in the right area with room for 5 of us at the right price range. The house was one of their smaller ones - the bedrooms were good size and beds were comfier than average. Good sitting space in the lounge and nice little outdoor garden area although we couldn't really use it because it was raining. Drip coffee machine with reusable filter was good The pool was a little tired looking but it was still really fun and the kids loved it The option to order pastries in the mornings was very convenient The staff were all very friendly

The concept of the small houses is nice. All was clean and appropriatly equiped. We were not happy as it was much too small for us. the bedroom upstairs had no space to leave the luggage for two people not to mention we were 3 (11 year old kid). Our son had to sleep on the sofa downstairs. That means one comes into the door and falls into the opened sleeping sofa. Luggage had to be on the little dining table. So no way we could eat in the house.

Le Village Cancalais is well kept, people were friendly and we loved the area. Bike to St Malo, Le Mont San Michele and Cancale. We had very good food in the plenty restaurants and great days with exploring the sites. All was clean and I think if you dont mind small spaces and are maybe two people its a recommendation.

The kitchen was a bit worn out (the bathroom had been renewed). I didn’t knew we had to bring our own soap and dishwasdeterget so we had to buy it.

In our cottage third room with 2floor bed was in my opinion not as room, but more like corridor, but understood that place is that is and have one more place to sleep. This was not a negative but more like strange review.

The sofa bed mattress was quite squeeky. It's a shame there wasn't a cafe area open to have a nice morning coffee. The flaps between indoor and outdoor pools could do with a deep clean.

We had a 3 night stay and everything was great. The 1bedroom house had everything that we could have asked for in terms of what our 3 person family needed. We had an after hours check in and we received very clear instructions so that made everything easy. We stayed in 121, there was a lovely little outside private decked area great for star gazing and evening drinks. The proximity to the pool was very convenient, our 3yr old son loved it and didnt want to leave! We were lucky to arrive just as school holidays finished so we had the place almost to ourselves. The facilities and temperature of the pool was fabulous. Great communication with reception, additional towels were waiting for us when we got there. It wasn't a problem to borrow an iron when needed, also they had useful tips about markets in the local area so don't be afraid to ask for a tip or two.

There were a few things missing in terms of equipment. Do take towels, and look papers, washing up liquid. It is a completely no added frills rented property

The walk from the restaurants in the port was pretty long (2 km) with the kids. Going with car not a good option either, since no parking space near the restaurants. Bed not very comfortable.

Nice pool, we used the indoor, since the weather was cold. Possibility to order fresh bread for mornings. Friendly, English speaking staff. Good base for day trips to St Mont-Michel and St Malo

They were very clear the WIFI is spotty. And I appreciate that. But please, keep that in mind. Its very very spotty. Its a bit small but for the amount of rooms you are getting, its nice. The upstairs toilet is in such a small space and the lighting is horrible in the main shower room if you like to do your makeup or hair. But our biggest disappointment was the hours for the pool. We were told to not use the pool after 8:30pm. After seeing the sights and dinner, 8:30 has come and gone. I understand the rule because it is such a quiet neighborhood. But the kids were a bit disappointed.

The apartment was as advertised. It was clean. Had a nice size refrigerator. We checked in after hours and had no issues at all. Very quiet area. The pool area is beautiful. Definitely good for a family on a budget.
