The hotel is a wonderful old building with its little quirks and oddities, close to the center of town and the bride and easy for a walker to access. In good weather the central courtyard is a fine place to sit and read or listen to birdsong.

Kettle in room but no milk,coffee or tea bags.No hair dryer.Not over impressed with the automated check in system and no staff in reception.

Staff (remote and could not assist). The baby cot was set up in the wrong room (we had booked 2) so we ended up in the smallest room No privacy in bathroom (open on the room) and water all over as no curtains

Expensive for dogs. Would have been really nice to have a friendly face, felt quite impersonal. No coffee in rooms.

Nice walks for dogs. Comfortable room, very clean, lovely views. Easy check in. Nice breakfast, lovely dinner.

Nothing- everything was very nice. However, guests should understand there is not much close by when it comes to restaurants and shops. Orleans is a 30 minute drive.

on arrival the garden was very unkempt but during our stay it was tidied up and this made the building and its surroundings much more arttractive

Facilities were nothing special - no air conditioning or fan with outside temperatures around 35c. En suite had a bath, but shower did not work.

The room had a wonderful view over the river, and was spacious, unfortunately the window is small . The shower room was large with a walk-in shower, and good size washbasin. Again unfortunately we were there during a top 30's heatwave so the room was very hot, but the hotel supplied a fan, which was much appreciated. The hotel included in there popular facilities a restaurant, which didn't actually belong to the hotel, even though it is on the premises. It was my birthday and I was looking forward to a nice meal. The menu was minimal which is okay if there has been thought and effort put into the courses, but it was pretty plain. Plus it was not cheap, I get a lot better at home. We had not booked breakfast, expecting a good feed the night before. I would stay again, as the hotel is in a very pleasant area,

The room was well situated with a view over the river but the facilities were very basic and disappointing following our previous visit some 10 years ago. The standard provided would not encourage a future visit.

Lovely place and wonderfully helpful staff. I had made a mistake with my reservation, which the hotel could have easily exploited at my expense. I’ve had that happen before. But this hotel couldn’t have been more gracious about finding a solution. I’m so appreciative that their help allowed us to stay at this delightful property on the river

The mattress and the pillows could have been more comfortable. The room was extremely hot. It could have been good to have air conditioning or at the very least a fan.

The extra bed in room was reminiscent of a medical bed which wasn't in keeping with the room. Tea, coffee and kettle in room is always appreciated but wasn't available.

The staff would leave the windows open to air the room, meaning there were a lot of flies and mosquitoes in the room in the evening. It’s an old building, so you hear people in the hall way, but all guests were very quiet. Except one couple with a dog who barked a lot, I thought this hotel did not allow dogs.
