The loft bedroom can get a bit stuffy at night.

The family rooms provided excellent space and privacy. The extra half bathroom was very convenient. Breakfast provided good quality and variety of foods. I liked how the hotel was a bit away from the hub off the old town but still very walkable (within 5 min).

The walls were a little thin. We had a crying baby in a room nearby that kept me awake for a couple hours in the middle of the night.

Location was perfect for getting to old town and access to the lake. The views from the pool/bar area were amazing. Breakfast was delicious and very enjoyable looking out at the lake. I would absolutely return to this hotel for my next stay if I'm lucky enough to visit again.

The male receptionist who incorrectly booked our taxi for 0815 and not 0745 on Sunday 9June. His colleague on the Sunday morning, a Chinese lady, was unable to rebook the t I as there were none able to available,e until after 0800. Our train was booked for 0815 in order to get a flight home. This made the end of a very enjoyable stay very stressful. There was no apology, and we were advised to walk. Outrageous really.

We had an absolutely wonderful few days at Le Pélican, and are determined that we will get back for an even longer stay as soon as we possibly can!!!!! We loved all the facilities the hotel has to offer - from the top class restaurant and tremendous boulangerie/patisserie on site to the outdoor veranda and pool deck with their lovely views of the lake 😍 All the staff we dealt with were really friendly and helpful, and our room was elegant and very well equipped. All this, plus extremely easy access to the key tourist areas in Annecy, made for a 10/10 hotel experience! We cannot recommend Le Pélican highly enough!

Hotel is right by lake Annecy and only few min walk into old town. It’s a great location if driving to Annecy, the private parking has elevators to the hotel. Rooms are tastefully decorated, everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, loved the many varieties of bread and pastries.

A small detail, but for a 4 star hotel I would have liked real coffee cups, not paper ones. Otherwise it was fantastic

The room was very clean and modern stylish. Just a short stroll to the city center. The little cafe had some good selections for breakfast at modest prices. The underground parking was secure and out of the weather.

It was all great.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Le Pelican, a pleasant six minute walk from the old town of Annecy. The room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were attentive to our request for a quieter room when we found our initial room overlooked a metal walkway to the front patio, which was pretty noisy. Lauren, at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful and suggested a couple of very good restaurants in the old town. We found a taxi from a train station taxi stand and a return trip via the “Bolt” app rideshare (suggested by someone at the hotel) to be better cheaper and faster than Uber. Breakfast was definitely worth including in the room rate, as they had ample self-service breakfast offerings in their lovely “O Bon Bec” gourmet bistro space which in nice weather would appear to include access to the outdoor patio. The hotel has a convenient space off the lobby where a local artisan bakery sells bread, sandwiches, pastries and beverages. Only after returning to the US did we discover that a wing of the hotel is actually a listed heritage building, it blends so seamle

While the room layout was great, the decor was bizarre; too many colors, sparkles, feathers, silly light fixtures. Breakfast was mediocre. Very strange scrambled eggs??? Not one person of the restaurant staff smiled. They all looked unhappy. The combo shampoo/body wash was cheap and not very good. For the price, separate shampoo and conditioner would be nice.

The room was large and the layout was great. Lots of clever storage. The terrace was amazing!!! Would comeback just for that. While the hotel is on a busy street. it was relatively quiet ; close enough to make frequent walks to the old city, but far enough to be away from the crowds. The pool was lovely. The place was exceptionally clean.
