Clean rooms (recently renovated) and friendly owner/staff - definitely recommend!

I had a beautiful room but it is a strange hotel. The host was great-even appearing late at night when I lost my key. Don’t expect to see other people or facilities! But great location and great view and very comfortable bed.

There is so much to love about this place. The owner could not be more hospitable! he went out of his way to do everything he could to make us comfortable. The location is fantastic, so much to do nearby. our bed was super comfortable and looked straight over the canal. I can not recommend this place more!

Nothing we didn't like, they are new so tweaking small things like extra hooks in the bathroom etc. Parking available but is limited, although plenty nearby so not an issue.

We had a LOVELY stay here - if you like cool, and trendy and unique and small and friendly - this is your place. Great Location - we had the corner room overlooking the canal. Great for watching the boats. Good breakfast and people who care about your experience, welcome drink, great omelette, unique rooms. Great ambience with groovy music that makes you feel like you are on holiday and a lovely breakfast terrace. Relaxed and informal with great design vibe about it. Owners and staff appear keen to provide an Experience! We'd definitely go back.

A very friendly team. A very warm welcome indeed. Our evening meal after a 3 hour drive was heavenly. The Turbot was a delight. Our waiter a young man from Morocco was the essence of hospitality and kindness. We stayed in room 2 . We'll worth the extra money as it has a relaxing sofa from which to look and enjoy atmosphere of the street and waterway. French hospitality at it's best.

The room had a fridge, there was water but not a single glass in the room. The bathroom had no hooks for robes/clothes. And the restaurant had run out of red wine - in France!

A first rate hotel but newly opened and the little things were missing. We were greeted and presented with a drink on arrival - nice touch. Very friendly staff and the restaurant served excellent food at a very reasonable price. But there are teething problems

Not what I expected from a Four Star Hotel. The lobby was locked until 15:00 (you cannot drop off your luggage if you arrive before the check in time). There was no soap for the bathroom sink (I used the shower gel). The toilet seat wasn’t bolted down to the toilet. The table pedestal leg was loose, causing the table to wobble. There were no instructions in the room regarding WiFi password, breakfast options, etc. The WiFi password is on a sign in the lobby, but if you didn’t see it, you have to go back down the stairs to find it (there is no elevator). There was a square hole in my bathroom wall (about 4” x 4”). There was no place to hang a bath towel or bathrobe (one of the little “peel and stick” hooks on the bathroom wall fell off when I tried to hang my towel on it.). The one towel holder provided is only big enough for a hand towel. My ceiling light fixture was missing 2 out of 3 light bulbs (poor lighting and unsafe). The windows on the bathroom door offer no privacy.

Great location on the canal and near the beach. My suite offered great views of the canal and the town.

the place charged me, the guest and if for some reason you are late no one opens the door or answers the phone! incredible! a hotel that unilaterally cancel AND charges you! I had to drive to another city to find rooms for my family.

booked a room with a sea view but the hotel is actually on a canal. the room and communal parts were cold for a November booking. the breakfast buffet you see on the photo at booking is nothing like the one actually served on a tray with just some bread, jam and cheese. The hotel advertises itself as 4 star but i bet is not certified as such. Left feeling I’d overpaid and was oversold.
