The bedding. The pillowcases and duvet cover were a quilted polyester fabric. And there was no top sheet. If I were to stay here again I'd bring plain cotton pillowcases and a top sheet.

The information about parking could have been better. The streets are very narrow and we were lucky to find a car park that was free overnight but quite a long way to carry our luggage.

We did not have breakfast but the hotel was convenient for restaurants. Right in the centre of Amboise. The recommended restaurant was excellent.

Very old and needs renovations. No elevator! And very narrow hallways. No service if you need a clean towel everything is kept at their sister hotel down the street. Breakfast adequate, no hot items. Parking ( for a charge) is at a lot 3 blocks away so lugging even carry on over the uneven sidewalks was difficult.

Fairly easy to find. Restricted street parking, but they have a parking area a short walk away, which costs 10 euros a night.

The bathroom really let the hotel down. It had an odour, it was tired and worn with cracked tiles and the light fitting above the sink had exposed electrical wires.

Excellent location, the breakfast was satisfactory. The room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. The member of staff who greeted us and served us breakfast was friendly, efficient and helpful.

There is no actual car park linked to the hotel.. There are two free ones a couple of hundred yards away but both were solid in March, so must be worse in summer. The unloading bay opposite was occupied permanently by a private car. The road is narrow and part of a one-way system. . Paid parking is easier, but a problem if you have heavy luggage to transport as you could be some distance away. Our room was small, as in the description. Most comfortable certainly, but hard to simultaneously open two full-sized cases for an overnight stop.

Very clean, comfortable room, nice shower & bathroom, decent thick bath towels and a hand towel, comfortable bed and friendly English speaking guy on Reception. All the staff - and the dog - were very welcoming. Many thanks. We really enjoyed our stopover. The location is superb. Right in the heart of Amboise. There was a kettle in the room and a complimentary bottle of water.

Location was excellent. Parking was a few minutes walk and the bike parking arrangement was on the same street. Very helpful staff.

Our room was really warm and too loud with the window open but the a/c unit didn't seem to make much difference. Also the bathroom door when completely closed had big gaps on either side.

Great location right in the center of Amboise, access to secure bike parking and an ok breakfast.

Room was very small and awkwardly shaped and was slightly noisy until about 11.30/12 but then was fine.

Location was excellent and free car parking found nearby with instructions which were good.

Would have preferred less stairs. Rooms small but adequate. Restaurant not good, left for almost an hour without an offer of a drink or a menu. No water or bread supplied. Couple on next table walked out after a long wait.

We were finally in the annex of the hotel which closes at noon, so you should take this into account if you’re arriving between 13 and 16 (I think). The shower was not very hot.

The location, the personnel is super nice, the bedrooms are quite big.

Not the same hotel as booked, but apparently we were upgraded. Bedroom was fairly cramped. The parking was public parking and some way from the hotel and lucky to find a place. If ‘free parking’ is advertised I expect this to be at the hotel.

Decent location. There was a fridge for use by residents which was handy to store items for picnic. There was a dedicated room for cyclists to store bikes and equipment. Not relevant to our current stay but could be useful in the future.
